Turbo Mach1 Vs. C6 Z06

No offense but I hope you are turning the boost way up and running C16. A C6 Z06 with a 200 shot would run like a 900rwhp Mustang on the highway. If you have a half a second worth of turbo lag it will be game over.

A 200 shot wont help him, His car may run like a rape ape but the driver sucks *****..... The vette was owned and will be owned again, There is no way in hell a vette owner would sandbag a race and loose some street cred for a couple of dollars. +1 for the mach for shutting him down.

Hell one time I missed a chance to get $400. I had a stock longblock 99 Cobra with a little P1SC and 4.30 gears. I asked some kids if they wanted to run their cars for some money. Ofcourse they said no but they knew someone who would.
They did and this guy showed up in a red 96-98 Cobra with an aluminum adjustable wing, fuel cell, no rear seats/fixed front seats w/ 5 point harness, built stroker motor with a Vortech blower, a 6 point cage with a cross brace, and his autocross CCW wheels and tires on. Needless to say I backed out because at best I had 500rwhp. Well the guy turned out to be pretty cool so we both figured we could make more money by us both going out and finding other people so we did. At a light we got side by side and he said "I'm going for it when the light turns green" I agreed to since there was no money on the line now. Figuring I would get raped I reved it up to 3,000rpms and slipped the clutch on green. I jumped out on him hard about half a carlength, hit 2nd gear and was still pulling on him while I was sideways. Hit 3rd gear and it was all over. He couldn't believe how fast my car was and I couldn't believe how slow his car was. Fun times.
I can tell more stories if anyone wants.

I'm going to be on race gas next time and about 20 psi or more. I was only at 11 psi this time and on shitty Kumho street tires. They still hooked pretty good at that boost level. 20 psi should give me another 200+rwhp. And to the person that said I would need 900rwhp to beat a C6 Zoh with a 200 shot is crazy. My car only weighs 3300lbs, so it is 200lbs heavier. Not too big of a deal.

level. I know that dude will fly with the boost cranked up. A friend's shop
built a 800hp turbo Mach 1 and it was a missile.

good kill.... Its going to take a full bolt-on Z06 to probably beat you at your present boost level..
To the person who mention the 200 shot.. If he is smart, he won't spray more than 125 shot on that Z.. If he does, he will be walking home..
