I must be out of the loop. The OP beats a Ferrari and yall bash on him? Coming from guys who own a f body too? I'm confused. I'd be happy if I beat a Ferrari...probably wouldn't do to good in the turns, but I'm more of a straight line kind of guy anyways. Good job OP

If the Ferrari had nitrous then it would have been all over for sure...

 

1. He may not own the car, could be a rental. 2. What is not believable about it.? 360 Modena has less than 400hp. 3. The only reason that he prob gave me the time of day is, I was chasin him all over the freeway to get to to. He prob tried just to put me in my place. 4. It is deff not the first time I have seen a Ferrari lose to the underdog cars.

I am not one of those ppl who make stuff of to get attention. The only reason I had posted t was bc I was excited about it. If I would have lost then I would have posted that. I didnt expect the results of the race myself.

 

No I think you misunderstood why you got bashed so hard. You said "lets just say if I had spent $200K-$300K on that car, I would want my money back". Why would you want your money back? Because someone with a modded $7,000 F-body beat you in a straight line? Have you ever driven a Ferrari? Sat in one? Hell looked at one in person? There is alot more to the car past how fast it will go in a straight line. Sadly, that can't be said about your car. So in the end, you still lost you just don't know it.

 

It's always fun beating exotic cars because we (or at least I) admire them tremendously. Your post came off as if a Ferrari is a POS because you beat one in a straight line. There is a lot more to a Ferrari than that.

No matter how many times you beat exotics, it's always 'Exotic' (W) 'Camaro' (L). At the end of the day, they drive away in a 360 Modena (in this case at least).

 

OP, no one is saying they don't believe you. It could have been a good story, but you just acted like your Fbody was way better than a Ferrari. That is pretty silly to think.

We don't need anymore people acting like that on this site anyways. If you are new, and cool, I don't think anyone is going to have a problem with that. If you come in here acting like an idiot, then I think most people would rather just not have you here at all. (I don't literally mean YOU)

a win against an exotic car is great, but like others have already said,
at the end of the day-
you own an f-body and the person you beat owns the exotic.

I would take the Ferrari over an f-body any day.

LOL! You forgot to say that the guy was sitting in his drive way and you were driving down the freeway.

 

ok guys,
I went ahead and made a phone call to Ferrari in Italy (I speak Italian)
I alerted them to the fact that an F-body beat a Ferrari in a straight line.

The manager I spoke with (Gaitano Ierardo) put me on hold for a couple of minutes after I told him what happened.
Then when he gets back on the phone I hear a lot of shouting in the background and finally he says that "Ferrari will have to cease production immediately until this dire situation is resolved".

Well at this point I was somewhat speechless and feeling guilty and also concerned about the future of Ferrari cars.
We each said ciao to each other and hung up.

All I can say at this point is,- thanks a lot op- because of you Ferrari is in termoil. Damn it, from now on, never beat a Ferrari and talk crap about them.

They are giving you trouble because of this:
Ferrari's are that expensive because of how their built, the materials used, and the technology and road/driving tuning done. These cars are made to race on real tracks(ones with turns), not strait lines. Its a hand built race car made for the street that you can drive to the track and back comfortably.
If you beat an F1 car in a strait line 1/4 mile would you think the F1 car was a rip off?
