I am driving to the bank to pay bills (yeaaaa) and a Yellow 370Z came up beside me, I look over the car and gave the guy a nod( asian dude ) HE SMILES ????? WTF Like i wouldnt have a chance or something??? Not sure what that was all about so I downshifted to let him know, Hey why dont you just outrun me then SMILE. He keep up but wouldnt go. So I gave up and got ready to get off the freeway and head back where i was heading. Well then it got interesting.

Sorry no video, I had my camara out and was next to him several minutes and he wouldnt bite. So i threw my camara in the passeger seat and got over to get off, at the last sec i looked one more time, and sure enough here he came. I waited a bit and dropped into 2nd, as i was only going 50.

He got a good run on me, I hit the peddle and just about stop his pull, I hit thrird, ohhh crap Nope I missed third, I pull back and shove forward, CLICK there in thrid and hammer down!!!! I look now hes over a car ahead, for a sec i think fudge it, but i didnt let out.... Now im really starting to move on his quick so i ****** 4th and floored it, I blow by him and let off when i got 3 carsa out

I slow down he comes right back up and then he looks over and gives me a dirty look?????, (im hoping Round two with vid) But NOOOOO he would'nt look over at me again, even though i gave him the thumbs up he just got over and got off the freeway. Oh well next time I guess.

Dam that does sound like fun. But i must ask, what do you have done? I have heard a few of my friends tell me how on the highway they keep pace with LS2 M6 GTOs no problem. Plus at the track they run low 13s stock

The car is a 30over 6.0L with stock heads and a cam, she turned 406 to the tires on a mustang (I could take it to another dyno and go 450 but WHY?)

she went 13.01@107 at Richmond, Va Stock / also - Great lakes dragway - Steel Alabama

Since the new motor I have had no tires on her so best i could go was

8.17@89 in the 1/8 (the harder I try the worst the time, she just spins)

So i need to find a rear end before i detonate another one

I dont buy that **** for an instant: I killed 1 of them when they first came out when I was stock: killed another a few months later when I was CAI/tune/catback. Bone stock I still put 2 cars on him from 65-100ish, AND I'M AN AUTO! A M6 should yard one from a roll: only chance they got is a dig IMO.
I live for that ****! Best one was probably the nasty sounding rust bucket Supra that had such huge turbo lag that when I hit I instantly put 4-5 car lengths on him: I let up and tapped my brakes, decelling and here he comes blasting by. Took me until 160mph to get even with him again... he was hitting his steering wheel and dash trying to coax some more boost out of it as I slowly reeled in the 2 car lead he stole from me.

Speaking of which, just saw that guy the other day in a newer, clean Supra with some serious 300+ series tires on it. Talked for a second in stop n go traffic: He says his new Supra is stock boost and by next year it will be
".... NOT stock boost ..." Guess the tables are gonna be turned unless I get my head/cam on before we meet again. lol The never ending game!

Hmm now see this i find interesting. Only way to settle this is to run one myself but the chances of that happening are slim to none sadly. However my buddy stateside just picked up a SPice red 06 6.0 M6 so ill tell him to be on the prowl lol

 

They don't bother me simply because I know I must have gotten to them for them to react in such a way. Fly-bys are a self defense mechanism for the insecure.
