Nice kill Ron. Great looking car. I've never seen a yellow ZR1. There is a black ZR1 around town. I know he would work me over, but I still want to play around a little and see just how bad they really are. My guess is VERY bad.

My dream Vette is the Jet Stream Blue ZR1.... (( I think that's the color)) So Great kill on a Rustang, I really want someone to take me for a ride in a ZR1, I don't even have to drive it if someone would just let me ride along lol Nasty cars!!

 

Very nice man. YOu aren't too far from me. I take 99 all the time. I down near Fresno though. I have family up in Stockton. VERY familiar with the highways around here.

Beautiful car. I know how hard a new Z06 pulls I can't imagine how hard your car pulls. Have yet to seen one in person, but still keeping my eyes peeled. Good hunting!

They only run 11.0 @ 130mph...give or take a few tenths and a few mph.
That's incredible for a stock car though. They run really hard with more
boost and some basic mods.

Yea..id say they are pretty bad ***....

But im still a lil disapointed with GM opting for the supercharger over a 7.6 litre monster engine..I expect ford to stoop so low...But not CHEVY

As well the KB cobra rolled his eyes because he thought he was raceing a stock Z06..The ZR1 just looks to much like a vette...For a car that dosent have corvette any where in it's title and cost over 110K....

It looks like a vette because it is a vette?? Its the Corvette ZR1.....as opposed to the Z06, with a supercharged LS3 block engine, also known as the LS9. Umm what is not a Vette about this car?

I have never once heard it called the Chevy ZR1

I agree with all you said, EXEPT the 'stoop low' part. I think having a blower ontop of a 7.6L is just as badass as a stock car able to run high 10s at 130+. BUt that's me.

 

He may not be familiar with corvettes. That's like saying a svt cobra looks too much like a mustang gt.

 

Maybe not familiar with Vetes, but to say a ZR1 isn't a Vette is like saying a Mustang is a GT not a Mustang Gt.

 

They certainly don't look all that different. 99% of the population
couldn't tell the difference between the two...just like with a ZR1.

 

Ya aside from the hood, the ZR1's look a lot like the Z06 and many would just think the ZR-1 was a suspension package or something, and that the Z06 is the fast one...
