Acyually I can tell a 03 cobra over a regular mustang a 1/4 mile away..They did a great job in makeing the car look mean as hell....

On the other hand...

Line these 4 cars up from the rear..

-chevy corvette........................48K
-chevy corvette grand sport...........53K
-chevy corvette Z06..................73K
-Chevy ZR1..............................115K

And you will be VERY hard pressed to tell wich is wich..

Look at them from the profile...

-Chevy corvette-lil more suble but same basic theme
-Chevy corvette grand sport-looks pretty much the same as zo6 and zr1
-Chevy corvette Z06-looks pretty much the same as sting ray and zr1
-Chevy ZR1-looks pretty much the same as sting ray and z06

front end..

-Chevy corvette-little more subtle but same theme
-chevy corvette grand sport-looks just like z06 and zr1
-Chevy corvette z06-looks just like sting ray and zr1
-Chevy zr1-looks just like sting ray and zr1 but has a lil window in the hood

AS FAR AS I KNOW THE ZR1 IS NOT LABELED AS A CORVETTE IN ANY WAY WHAT SO EVER ON PAPER....IT IS THE CHEVY ZR1

Honestly the Z06 and Zr1 are nice looking cars...And with the Z06 being 70K plus you were gonna have to pay TO ROLL IN A CAR THAT LOOKS THAT MUCH LIKE THE ZR1......

But now you can get the damn grand sport that looks TOO MUCH like a Z06 or ZR1 brand new for in the 50's.....

GM kind messed up IMHO....

Heres what the 55K grand sprort looks like

http://jalopnik.com/5287137/2010-cor...tarts-at-55720

Honestly to me it looks exactly like a Z06 only a lil more agressive with the side scoops..

And the convertable Grand Sport is more agressive looking than the Z06 or ZR1

honestly..what looks nicer..a zr1...z06 or this grand sport that you can take the top off...wayy to go gm and this is why the kb owner rolled his eyes

It's not so nice out here right now. It's been dry the last few days but it's cold as **** and we haven't seen the sun in about a week. I'm anxiously awaiting spring.

How did you like your 95 ZR-1? A guy I work with just bought one and I keep trying to talk him into modding it, but he's the kind of guy who thinks that 400 hp is more than enough, haha.

I miss that car. It was my favorite of all my vettes hands down. The Torch Red was just beautiful and the smoothness of the DOHC was always a pleasure to experience. A lot of people don't mod them because there really isn't a large aftermarket for the LT5, plus when you can get your hands on parts they are usually very expensive. Add on top of that the difficulty level of working on them and yeah it's just better to some people to leave them stock. I had Lingenfelter do all the work for mine, with further porting, tuning and internal work done by a local shop in my area. The result was 580whp N/A and 10's at 130+ in the 1/4 on street tires. There already a pretty stout high 12-second car from the factory so even with the basic bolt-ons they can be pretty quick.

That's awesome, I've always loved those cars, but never looked into getting one because of the price to mod.

I'm guessing that the numbers in your sig mean 415 CI and rated 610 hp (flywheel)? Looks like it'd make for a good race with your current ZR1. How do you think they'd do against each other straightline?

Well the numbers for both cars are very close with my current car having about 20hp more over the old one. As soon as the track opens up and I can get a run in with the current mods i'll have an idea. My gut feeling tells me this one is faster though.

I just don't understand how people keep themselves from driving cars like this. Couldn't imagine this car sitting in a garage somewhere collecting dust. What's the point? lol

Numbers are rear-wheel figures made on the stock 10.5# pulley.
