Trans-am I am new to the whole ls1 thing and which cars are faster than others and i'm kinda looking for an explination. I own an A4 99 Trans-am and my only modification is a custom catback with no muffler. Somehow i have managed to beat a VR4 Mitsubishi 3000gt by 2 or 3 cars, 2 A4 99 camaro z28 by 2 cars which also had cat-back systems, a M6 2001 camaro ss with all of the airbox modifications by about a car and a half, another M6 2001 ss by about a car and a half, a M6 94z28 by about 6 cars, a 92 M5 mustang gt with all aluminum pulleys, headers, cobra intake, aluminum driveshaft, and other stuff thati can't think of by 2 cars, and I also managed to beat a 1992 M5 mustang gt with a procharger supercharger running about 7 pounds of boost by a half a car. I was just wondering how is this possible, is my car special or what? 
i see most races as a win for you. you might be making more power than other cars. but i think the guy in the 01 M6 ss could not drive, cause i see him on top of you but that would be about it. Ohh and stangs like Unit or TITBAR or me or any othes like evil stang . we are slow and truly do not belong on the board. those two mustangs are slow and you should have maybe lost to the S/C stang. the car with the procharger though was prolly not built right like most of them. Damn retards and their FURDS

Sounds like you MANAGED to find the kill section!
Your car IS special, stock they come with more horsepower than any other fbody! Just ask phantom, and he'll tell you the same.
Some of those kills you MANAGED were against lesser cars to the LS1 motor, but still good kills. I say that if you indeed did kill the other LS1 cars it was pure driving capability, and those guys couldn't drive for ****. Not to say that you could have just been a better driver too!

yeah you prolly got one that the first owner actully knew how to brake in the engine and take care of it... chawk it up to being a factory freek... some times you get luckey and the rods might weigh close to the same or just little things here and there just work well... but id suggest checking your air box and making shure you still have and air filter

All of these races were from a dig, and i've still got my airfilter. As far as i dyno i have no f*ckin clue what i run but with a gtech pro, really bad traction and a passenger it ran a 4.9 to 60 and a 13.3 in a quarter with a trap speed of 109. To answer 4mula1 i'm from Danville which is located in Boyle County, you've probably heard of our football team the REBELS .

Oh yeah, the driver of the 01 SS with the M6 can drive like a *****. She got me off the line because bfgoodrich comp ta's suck *** but i busted busted some *** in 2nd which is where my car usually does so damn good.
