On way home from exhaust shop. 2nd gen Rx7
Well guys, I finally got 3" True Duals X pipe installed!
Coming home from the exhaust shop on the xpressway, a 2nd gen Rx-7 comes flying up from way back. And goes to the far right lane. I pace him.
A clearing opens and we punch it. He holds for about 1/2 sec, then it's see ya! I pull away. We shut down at 90, so the win was not so dramatic.
I give him thumbs up, he pulls up and says, "hey! Not bad eh? I'm not even running a turbo!"
That's when I throw a rev, he throws back, at 60 we punch and I just pull and pull and put a couple of buslengths. Shut down at 110.
I guess he got the point.
Anyhow, check out my duals!

I have clips if anyone would like to host them.
Got quite a few looks on the way home, and a thumbs up from a cop.

The mufflers are Flowtech Afterburners... they sell for peanuts (well, $39 each to be exact).
Hey, thanks all.

Damn what a nice sounding car and nice kill... I like his, not bad for a turbo, eh? quote... You sure put him in his place. Sounds like a better match for me.

Looked like this.
The car I raced even had a hood scoop, but the guy made it a point to say he wasn't running a turbo. Whatever he meant w/ that statement, I'm not sure. The point is that soon after saying it, he was looking at my tailights 2 buslengths ahead.
