You should be in the 200mph range in top of fifth on stock size tire!! nowhere close to 160mph!

164 mph via GPS is actually pretty respectable for an WS6...It dose around 158 mph bone stock..So picking up 6 mph on top end is pretty good.
killmall, you dont pickup only 6mph with H/C/i cars, its a lot more than that! and the aerodynamics are not that bad on a TA with 460rwhp!!!Higher RPM with the MS3 cam will put you beyond 200mph(if you can reach it on a very long and desert road..) The viper is a car with plenty of of curves and non functionnal holes....try this calculator http://www.catherineandken.co.uk/sti/tyres.html

what curves will ruin aerodynamics??? lol. there are just as many curves on a camaro. and those non-functional holes do have a place to empty out, so they don't matter in terms of drag coefficient.

I just looked this up, and was close to correct. The PCM limits the ram air cars with the bigger tires to 165mph and the other ones to 160.

I'm not sure if this applies to the SS honestly, I looked and it said ram air so I made the assumption. Maybe only the WS6? Regardless, my point was he might not be running out of steam, just running into the PCM nanny. 160 or 165 whatever it is, try changing that value and seeing if it goes any more.
