They make like 160 and they are ****** slow. Even with the TRD supercharger they run ~15.1. It was supposed to be Toyotas answer to the tuning community... Thanks a lot Toyota, the damn Celica was faster. They are really good cars tho. I went to test drive one a while back for the GF and I was kinda impressed. Nice fit and finish, decent options and Toyota reliability. Plus it's cheaper than competition by a good amount.

I remember my friend trying to tell me that his TC with a muffler and CAI ran a 14.2 with those mods in the 1/4... I was like really, hmm so your car runs the same as a stock LT1 A4.. Wanna line up with me? (back when I was bone stock), and of course he refused. They can be made fast... But at the end of the day, whats the point really. I have a hard time wanting to make a FWD car fast. I like the new TC Cobalts, but thats about it for FWD cars for me.

I know exactly how fast my car is, and all of my mods were cheap to buy. Found more info, t3/t4 hybrid turbo on 8 pounds in a stock 5spd tc.

Yeah I raced one a few days ago... it wasnt really a race bf and gf in the car looking at my car and laughing cuz they lept inching forward and I heard the guy push the clutch in cuz the exhaust got quite all of a sudden and downshifted and went and I took off passing him like he was nothing and then I let off... he didnt inch forward anymore after that all it had I believe was exhaust it sounded beefier than stock but not too sure...

This guy I use to know had fixed up his girls TC for her and that thing was fast I think it ran low 12s high 11s and his SRT-4 ran around 10s

Damn man, That sucks... but at least it will give you an incentive to make some more power. My girlfriend drive a TC and it is pretty zippy for a 4cyl. If it had a turbo I can see it beating you.

yep there are plenty. I remember i raced one at the track. I was like what the hell. It looked and sounded stock and everything at idle. I know it wasnt though cause it trapped 116!! lol.. im sure it was big turbo in it.. He was a very cool dude. I didnt ask him his mods. I just asked if he sprayed and he said nope. Then i told him it was a good run for that type of car cause i never seen one that fast lol

IMO its an honorable death, the scion weighs around 2800lbs, and they're no slouches on boost. My buddy has one and its actually pretty fun to drive, pretty peppy and handle decently. I think either this summer or next we'll be installing a turbo kit on it.
