N.O.S and next time you can win. How would that be,a suv takes the vette. The owner would feel like poop.

Stock: 114-115mph with a good driver, but I'd say the average would be about 111mph.

A c5Z will pull away from one pretty steadily.

I raced camaro and put 1-2 cars on him ( in my car ) .. ls6+6spd

built trans + stall is the best thing you could do for it right now. Then worry about power adders.

I have a guy that would build my trans for real cheap and be strong as ****, so thatll just kind of go with it if i do decide to supercharge it. I just cant make up my damn mind. Im kind of leaning towards the 99.

Yep.. a strong F-body with LTs could probably pull on a stock LS2 but I don't think basic bolt ons would be enough.

yeah put it towards the 99, cuz even if you supercharge the tbss, it will still be slower than your 99 when done. i know how you feel because i plan on modding my tbss but i keep putting it off till my camaro is completely the way i want it. the way i think of it is u can throw alot of money into the tbss and run low 12's high 11's or put the same money or less into the f-bod and run low 11's high 10's
edit: sorry bout the spelling but it was just a quick thought/post

Yes my suggestion would be to split your big check with me lol.. Naw but I think you should just modify your camaro. Which one do you drive more? tbss or camaro?

im way over on the little penninsula that sticks out into the chesapeak bay, you gotta cross a 17 mile bridge tunnel. but im from the washington d.c. metro area. and go back to visit alot. used to work up in fairfax. what kind of engine build are you doing...454lsx or something?

I bought the camaro off of a guy, and it turned out to be a real big lemon, and kept blowing out trannies. Ive had it for about 2 years now and its only ever been on the road for about 2 weeks. I never had the 99 running since ive had the TBSS. but when i finish both, ill be drivin the TBSS more. The 99 will only see the road and the track a couple times a month.

Honestly i dont know yet, im not the best mechanic but my buddy and his dad are insane with chevy motors. Hes got a 71? chevelle that ran a 7.98 @179. He said i basically have a choice for what i want. Itll either be a procharged 406 or an all motor 434 small block. Im leaning towards the 434 because its more street friendly. I want something that i can fire up and drive if i want and if i see a lil ricer actin dumb, i can get int the throttle if i want to. He said itll be right at like 550-600RWHP. The procharged motor would put down more power and be faster but not as street friendly. He said if im ripping on it alot on the street the procharged motor will break more than the 434. So im pretty sure i want the 434, because when i wanna go all out fast, im gonna try and get ahold of a 69 z28 and have that as the nasty *** street/ strip car. But again, its all about $$$

I'm in the same boat with my stuff now. I still have alot of things I want to do to get the Camaro all finished up (for now), but my G8 is stock and it's killing me. If I start on the G8, it'll be getting LT's, tune, and chrome stock wheels to start.

For your Camaro, the procharger setup will break parts more due to making more power, but will definitely be more driveable on the street. My buddy's 347/D1 C5 Z06 makes high 600's to the ground and drives 100 times better than my cam only Z28. The biggest downside to me is the price, because you could tone it down so it won't break parts, but then what's the point of spending the extra. A 434 LSX would make for a nasty street car for sure. Good luck with that decision
