97 Cobra vs 06 Monte Carlo SS
#43
My area is GM country. Most 16 year old boys receive a pre 98 fbody for their first car. :p It's not till graduation or shortly after do they purchase a LS1 based GM. The few Mustangs around are V6 autos, and most are S197s, or early S97s. There are few GTs around. It's one of the reasons I got the GT. When my car is all cleaned up (most of time) there isn't a time I go out that someone makes a compliment on it.
The TAs and Camaros race on the main road CONSTANTLY. So much so that cops here in Vienna have turned into ***** about even a fast take off without going over the limit.
We need a track in the area badly. Even if it's only a 1/8th mile.

Lesson one......SN95 refers to 94-04 (ten year span). Exterior body panel change (and other very minor changes) for 99-04 were nicknamed New Edge to know the difference between exterior differences primarily.
(it's still an SN95, it's just used to clarify body style).

Thanks for the mustang 101! Went to the track with my friend in the monte. The cobra went a best of 13.6@103.8 with a 2.1 60ft to his 13.7@100.
