The Test Drive Terror!!! Well what a day today was. i got up with every intention to go look at a trans am today and boy did i. i went down to a used car dealer friend of mine to test drive and get a feel for a 2k1 trans am ws6 and boy did i. we did the usual, look at the interior play with the radio get a feel for the seats and so on... then i fired it up....good lord did it feel good. so i ask him if we can go roll around for a bit and him bien an adrenaline junky like myself, we go ahead. well i start headin up the freeway for the usual runs, through some neighborhoods and such, then as we are heading back a mustang GT that was pretty new pulls up next to us on a light on the frontage road, it sounded great, had tt2s and such and looked pretty cool. well naturally he revs, i rev back (even tho stock exhaust still sounds great). light turns green and he takes off.. now i didnt wanna slam it to the floor cuz its not my car... well yet..... so i take off at a reasonable pace and just stay next to him till about 45 or so, then i nail it and holy crap that sommabitch got into my rearview in no time, i think after i pulled a car or so he quit tryin cuz at about 100 or so he was probably 5 cars back. **** was it fun, cant wait to get one of my own.

no ****, i live up near cedar park and my gf lives right off city park in riverplace, or actually westminster glenn or whatever... i drive my truck up there all the time u may have seen it, big black lifted z71

That's hilarious! My parents live in Westminster Glen! That's where I stay when I'm not in school. I live right off of Westminster Glen. When you turn left onto Westminster Glen Rd my house the the second to last one before the first left turn. Black Mach 1. That's really funny. I went to Cedar Park in High School.

haha, if you knew that i paid for my Mach...brand new... less than the price of many V6 mustangs, you probably wouldn't think it was overpriced. Isn't your z28 basically the same sticker price new as a Mach 1 anyways? But, i get the humor and it made me laugh. I'm really glad that a bunch of car guys can bs to each other and have fun doin' it. You guys on ls1tech are a lot more fun to have conversations with than the guys at some other chevy forums. Thanks for the laugh!
