Default Porsche KILL

So i'm pulling out of my house development at a light, i get out on a yellow & get going before long i look up & notice a silver Porsche changing lanes Quickly & yeah i guessed he was trying to catch up to me. so when he does he catches me at a light. it was a older guy around oh late 50's or early 60's my car is rump b rumping at the light, it looks to be a NEW porsche carrera anyway he looks over kinda gives me that look like I'm better than you & i have more money ! so i give him the look like well i'll kick your *** DICK LOL so we take off & i stay easy & wait til i hear a turbo start to spool up & the front of the car lifts he gets a inch on me when i hit the gas & i'm up in the RPMs already 2nd gear my tires break loose car goes sideways a little than hooks & i leave him sitting there like a lost kid at the Mall, i let off & waited til he came by of course he wouldn't look over so i gave him the Ricer drive by & left.

Please post the setup. Also you won't hear the turbo's, wastegate, or diverter kick in and turbo's have a very minimal lag almost unnoticeable so that front end won't jump but the rear will squat down and the PASM will recorrect the cars balance causing the front to move slighty upward then balance the car out. I love Pcars like alot.

Well i heard something that sure sounded like a turbo to me & the back of the car went down & the front went up, now i'm not talking about way up i just knew he was getting into hard. maybe his exhaust i heard ? & i don't mean the thing sounded like a jet winding up either i heard the rpms come up & then mine went & that's the last thing cause i left his *** pretty quick !

Really?

The 997 Carrera 4S only run 12.9 in the quarter stock, and that's with AWD.

That's what some mags run. They are actually mid 12's @115 or so. These stats are for 997.1.

Yeah, I've seen 997 S models run anywhere from 12.3-12.6 @ ~115mph. Turbos trap low 120s, and can run mid 11s. Not gonna leave one like it's standing still.

Well maybe he didn't stay in it. & yes i did leave him standing there pretty fast. i put like 2 cars on him before i let off. didn't even get to 90 & i wasn't going to go over that anyways not on the street. I think i was the only one there, so i'm pretty sure i know what happened. oh wait the guy in the porsche was there to. i'm pretty sure the guy wasn't going to run all out on the street, i'm sure he was just playing alittle like i was.

Solid kill OP. I love racing expensive cars. Just to see if i can beat them and **** off the owners which is exactly what you accomplished. Good job

He wasn't racing or it was most likely a used Porsche some guy just bought that had been freshly detained and had paper plates, probably a 996 Carrera 4, which would make perfect sense.

a 996 turbo is mid 11's at mid/low 120's

a 997 turbo is bottom 11's at mid/high 120's

There is no way either of those cars are running that unless they are modified.

False. 996 Turbo is 450hp and AWD. Most tests put them at high 11s. X50 models run mid-high 11s. 997 is quite a bit faster.

Negative. The 996 turbo pushes 420 hp and runs low 12's and traps just under 120. The 997 pushes 480 hp and with 6 spd traps around 125 and with tip in the lower 120's. The X50 996 package pumps almost 450 hp and I have not seen any run at the track.

Yeah, my bad on the power rating. But regular 996 Turbos have still seen high 11s.

Well the easy way to find out if it is a turbo is to ask if it had 2 side intakes.

But you say it didn't sound like a jet then either it wasn't a turbo or he couldn't drive it as they are very loud.
