I'm thinking it was around 77mph..I tried to slip the clutch, but again I'm new to this. Obviously I should have jumped out better on the fwd civic so ur right. I heard that there is a valve on the clutch line that doesn't allow these cars to launch hard from the factory. Not sure if this guy knows what he's talking about though, as I've never heard anything like that before..can anyone confirm this?

btw..my wore out 95 neon sohc 5spd ran a 10 flat so I'm well aware of how bad a 9.5 stacks up. If the clutch line thing is true, I think I'll just leave it alone and make a low roll street racer out of it. I'm not trying to break anything.

my buddy has an sti and a wrx so i know a thing or two if you baught it to go fast just sell it the wrx is a cool quick dd but modding it is usless the trannys are really weak and the motors can only handle about 350whp which is nothing if ur going to be ripping on it alot i say atleast get an sti tranny the swap isint that expensive and they are almost indestructable and the dcd is a awsome feature lets you change the diff settings which is cool cause you can put it all the way to the rear and whip it out pretty easy and with 1 click up on the ebrake it puts it 95 rear 5 front but its not too good for the front diff

yea..Ive thought about selling and getting an sti but the price diff. for what I got this car for may not be worth it. For a dd, I don't need more than 350awd hp so I may just keep it and do a few mods. From a low roll I can take most everything on the street from stop light to stop light. Got the other cars for the real action

lol at everyone telling you to sell it for an sti.

Its a decent DD, pretty quick for what it is and hell id take ot over an srt-4 or cobalt SS t/c anyday. That awd comes in handy and unlike most new cars, including many so called SUVs, if the road ends you dont gotta worry about it

Plus you should be fine if you want to go a bit quicker as long as you keep it under 300whp, doesnt sounds like much but it would be noticeably quicker then a stock STi with a few simple mods. But if you just want a solid and reliable DD then you got one.
