i dont think so but i could be wrong, same power and less weight for the mustang. I guess gearing could affect it but my guess is stock for stock the new 5.0 will take a stock camaro.[/QUOTE]
I agree. The new Camaro is just far too heavy and I think ford finally has a faster product. Only took them till now to finally get there though. We will see once some comparisons are done. I think it was smart of Ford to hold out the new 5.0 platform until after the camaro hit. Just make sense as it's too costly for GM to rethink the camaro so early into this generation.

OK so i was drivin down a 3 lane street and a 06 07 Mustang GT pulls up to me and we end up side by side at a light....he revs...i answer with a lets go look...lights turns green and we take off...lets just say it killing this Mustang was easier than finding a stripper whos intereseted in you..haha it sounded like it just has flowmasters and that was it...NO CHANCE haha just wanna post this up it my first kill since i got my Trans Am

it was not a 6 shooter haha it was one of those ive got a mustang n its loud kinda guy n my trans am isnt ram air so it doesnt scream V8 but it is..but his was a V8 badging and dual mufflers

Damn that sucks. Just came back from visiting my hometown in Jersey. Cold and snowy up there...I do miss it though. Met with a realtor looking for a small house in NW Jersey for when I retire. Car went 11.1 at 124 couple of weeks ago...looking for that elusive 10.

Retire? You aren't that old, at least I didn't think. Hell you are almost there on the ET. A small shot would put you there if everything else is sorted. Don't know if you want to go that route.

Dude I can't believe everyone is letting you off the hook here. Your story is weak...Take your time try to spell some of the words right, learn how to capitalize letters and you will be taken more seriously. Now nice kill, and remember killing that Mustang was easy. Some Mustangs may just kill you.

I have a built shortblock done in my garage. Problem is to get it off the stand and in my car is gonna cost me. I don't have the denaro right now. Once it goes in...up goes the boost.

I'm not bench racing, but I think ford finally has a GT that will compete with an SS Camaro. Still close to call, but both cars should rival really well in stock form and aftermarket

How do you know? Have you seen the powerband of the 2011 5.0 yet?
