Quick kill before work Not much of a story, but on the way to work some guy in a decent looking 300ZX pulls up next to me at a light. It sounds pretty decent, and he says he has twin turbos, (I forget which turbos he said). Anyways, we get to about 40mph, do the honks then floor it.
He actually kept up with me until about 80mph, then I pulled ahead. It was pretty cool, he was a nice guy.

That's possible. I remember he said something hundreds. It was actually pretty clean. No body kit or anything, just black with black wheels. I could DEFINITELY hear the turbos spooling and the BOV.

Probably just sport 500s/550s if he had upgraded turbos...even the stock turbos are capable of 400+WHP...Sport 500/550s are capable of about 450-500WHP and stock like spool up.
You may have heard the BOVs but twinturbos are usually pretty quiet unless its running an open type exhaust.
Nice kill, have had a few friends with modded 300ZX TTs and even with just simple mods they can be quick. Not uncommon to see them in the low 12s high 11s with just full bolt ons and tune.
