Default Death to an awd turbo z06

Lastnight I went to the local 1/8 mile track and saw what appeared to be an awd turbo z06. The only pass I made was against him. He smoked me but I was so impressed with his car. Next weekend I will try to get a video.

What engine? What leads you to believe it was AWD? What did it run?

He had N/T so I couldn't get a time. It appeared to be a 08-10 z06. When he did a burnout I saw all 4 wheels spinning and smoking. I'm telling you I was so impressed,I ran a horrible time. That monster launched like a F-18 off a carrier. He had 4 drag radials that hooked up like claws.

That's what has me confused about the whole thing. He drove into the water box and when punched it all four wheel spun and smoked. It sounded like a regular cammed car until he took off and turbo kicked in.Then it sound like a it had whistle.

Is there even any room under a vette to make it AWD?

maybe he can't tell the difference between an Gallardo or he is just yanking our chain. Or perhaps the smoke from the rear tires blew under the car and looked like it was coming from the fronts as well. Adding front drive to a rear transaxle just ain't happenin'.
