Thats a lot of ifs for most people out there. There are plenty of cars that dont run close to there potential with a ton of power. Not to mention half the people out there dont do all the supporting mods(cam before headers etc)

I know the car. He is one of my best friends. I was with him the day he bought it. It was bone stock when he got it. I have to say that it is the best pulley only cobra that I have ever seen. But it def is only upper pulley. Even his tuner said that it is one of the best running cars he has ever seen with his mods. I mean he only put down 475hp and 495tq. Ported cobrs usually put down more than that.

depends whats done...pullied they can run anywhere from mid 12's (worst driver ever) to 10's

add a port and it gets better

if he is pullied...which wouldn't be surprising...then you will get absolutely demolished

Sounds about right if those are Dynojet numbers and its tuned.. On my conservatively tuned Jon Lund tuned 03 with just a CAI, X pipe, Catback, and 2.76 upper I threw down 457rwhp/501rwtq with the clutch slipping up top, 14lbs.

Guy around here has a whipple 2.3 cobra on 19 lbs of boost, solid 9" w/ 4.11s on et streets. Car put down 630rwhp / 620 tq, cars best run is 11.44 @ 122 with a 1.6 60' foot. Not all tracks are the same (2,500' elevation here). Good race man and nice vette.

If he is not modded and you can really drive from a dig you have a chance. from a roll I doubt you will beat him but it happens pretty often

You will lose if he can drive. If he is modded you stand no chance at all. I am guessing you are pretty young, as is he so anything is possible. Hell you could both suck at driving, or both be suprisingly good.

When you look at your "mods" you maybe have an extra 9-10hp, most of that being the tune.

lol thats my Cobra.....yes that FRC made 400 rwhp and went 11.97 at 117. I have other vids also.....Since that raced I have fixed my belt slip issue and fuel issue the car runs very strong. I just raced my Bros full Bolt on TA with a MS3 in it and walked him very hard!!! To the OP good kill....every Cobra you run into you dont know what to expect some are terribly slow and some are very strong.

This is my friend with the pulley cobra racing a 600whp or more gt500. they raced another time and the gt500 didnt spin as bad and my friend said he didnt hit 3rd the way that he usually does. either way both cars ride the hell out.

That is the video of my friend with the 03 cobra I was talking aobut. the car he was racing is a gt500 that makes about 600 or more at the wheels. they both spun but I think that the cobra got traction first. Either way the gt500 wasnt pulling as hard up top as I though he would.
