this actually happened a little while ago. i just now thought to post it.

well me and a buddy are driving to the spring nationals, just kinda cruisin when we get to a stop sign. i look in the mirror and see an 05+ mustang. i wasnt really lookin to run since the clutch just finished breaking in the day before. well impulse took over.

i slowly creep away from the stop sign with the mustang beside me. i could barely hear his motor over mine but it was enough to hear him hit the gas. he got about 1/2 a car in front of me before i slammed on it and it was like he was sitting still. i really didnt think i would pull on a gt THAT hard.

i just kept pulling until he was just about out of sight. i let off and drove the speed limit the rest of the way. a couple min later, hes riding my ***. by that time it had turned into a one lane road so i wasnt about to race. he decides its badass to fly past me in the on coming lane. well about this time i notice no gt badges on the fender, a single exhaust, and a horrible sound comming from it.

son of a bitch. it was a v6. i was no longer surprised and slightly ashamed to have wasted my gas.

just thought id share. havent started a thread in here in a while

You know that happened to me a few weeks ago too. Coming back from work @ like 2am, got the 'tops off, minding my own business when some '05-newer Mustang comes up and starts riding my ***. Naturally I leave it behind like it just shut off and go back to cruising speed; he does a ricer flyby and I notice that he's a f**king 6? WTF is it with Mustang-6 guys?

 

well the thing that really threw me off was he had gt fog lights and the dealer optioned hood scoop. (which looks like **** btw)

 

Who really buys v6 muscle cars? That's like buying a 2wd jeep.

People that race the 6shooters are just plain gay.

 

Its going to get harder to tell them apart 2011 will all have duel exhaust from what I read.

the 5th gens are the ****** worst.. if its an RS v6, its visually identical to an SS besides a few small details.

 

Nice kill? hehe. Been there before myself. Some people just like the looks of the Stang, and some are just completely clueless. I had a V6 S197 try to run my 2V GT. Needless to say I pulled a few buses on him. He yelled out his window, "What do you have done to that thing?" I just said..."A few bolt ons...." The driver just looked confused. The V6s look more flashy then the GTs with all the extras.
