Oh, I did not know they were making 700. I thought they were making between 4 & 5 hundred.

Sweet kits. Just for burps and giggles, what does a turbo kit cost??? Nothing ungodly fast, just say, 500 HP.

The guy in the stang reminds me of my 1970 Buick Skylark [Built Stage1 455] Ran 13.0's at 116... seem a bit slippy to ya? . Anyhow, I jus wanted to say after about 10 seconds of watching the guy driving the red one,,, learn to drive before you get some HP behind your ***.
Whata tard , I am guess that is definitely a 9 sec car now.

Have you ever driven anything that fast? Yeah I didn't think so

But if you want to put some money where your mouth is I'll let the guy know and we can set something up.

Where are you from tough guy?

garrett.. i took the post exactly the way sscam did. its obvious (once you experience it) that the guy is wrestling with waay too much hp for the traction.

As well as posting his mis-shift was awesome too, I'd want that on the net.. But I have to say for a Ford, it obviously runs hard... there's no question in my mind. But I think it would probably (If pulling 9's now) would be faster with a more experienced driver in the seat. ****IMHO**** So don't get hot headed please. I, like anyone else on this site can respect a car with *****.

Jus so you know, my 11 second buick was 1800 dollars, with the work done to it. GL gettin that stang into the 11's with 1800 =/.

Anywho, I didn't mean to offend you, as obviously I did "Tough guy". Perhaps go to the gym.. blow off some fumes, didn't mean to upset you, surely.

Take care,
Garrett
Thanks, I'll take that as a definite NO.

Real easy to talk **** behind a computer. You don't even have the experience to back up your talk.

Like I posted, whenever your ready to back up that **** your talking we'll set something up

Cause I have a few GN's that would love the ford . Lemme get his number if you want, he lives a few minutes from me. I think he was in the Top5 5 fastest GN's in the world.. if you'd like to go with friends cars, I have no problem callin Lou up . Do you drive like a niced out ws-6 or ss? I'm jus curious, you dun have a sig and you've been posting a bunch.. thats why i ask--don't take it personally. But uhm... yeah, I have driven cars with that much HP, on a track, not on the street, so it probably is different, all I know is that my friend has an 88 LX with 450+ easy to the wheels and it's not much of a challange after 3rd to keep it dead straight. My buick has about 440 to the rear.. but it's about a thousand pounds heavier so.. *shrugs*. Anyhow.
Just another kid behind a computer. Congrats, you just joined the ranks of 25Psi and Bullit.

I doubt you drive or have driven anything that powerful or fast. Otherwise I am sure your comments would be different.

Whenever you decide to stop talking and grow a pair I'll let the owner of the Cobra know.

By the way, its between you and him seeing as you were talking **** about him and his car.

FYI, that street us uber-slippery. I can't even get traction in my lowly 320rwhp automatic Camaro much less his 575rwhp stick Cobra. Don't knock the car's setup until you know the conditions he ran in...Albuquerque's streets suck ***. The car on about 75 less hp ran 10.32@135 in Albuquerque, so it's very close if not possibly able to crack into the 9s now. And his experience is certainly not lacking, he has a stack of 8, 9, 10, and 11 second slips to prove it.

BTW, if your buddie's GN wants a run, I'm sure his other street Mustang would be game. He went 8.43@175 on his first run with the newer setup. And we all know how much seat time and tuning can help a new setup don't we. Then again, we all have some fast friends too.

Pretty quick on both parts, I actually saw the uhm.. I forget his name, but I saw his cars, they look impressive for Fords . Anyhow... I'm really glad that you think I'm a young kid talking shi* on the computer.. it's jus odd that I stated I hate people who do that but you jus insist... so.. to each his own, I suppose. If you'd like a video of my Buick that I have driven, with me in it, driving in the 1/4, with no traction doing a 13.0 at 116... it can be arranged. Trust me, I have driven my share of cars with *****. And to the friends with cars comment, of course, everyone does . I have done my share of comments on this guys friends driving.. I just hope your not cocky about your friends car, that's all. Once you have a car that runs 9's (Which I don't, which is why I'm not saying MY car can beat his, and I'm also not instigating much of the trash talking, if you look back at my original response to you.) Your friend has a couple of nice cars, seeing the site and his other Mustang was impressive, but I think that he would be a much cooler guy to talk to than a friend thinking he's cool. Thats all I'm gunna say.

P.S- 1/4 mile times are fun, top speeds are too.. I can't say I've done much in the top speed part but it would be interesting to see a car like his mustang set up for high speed to see what it can pull, I'm sure it would be pretty damn impressive with 768 rwhp? Jus another quick question, is the highest HP stock bottom end car a Supra? Jus a word around here in cali about a guy who has a 1048 rwhp supra with stock bottom end *shrugs* Would be fun to see that thing run eh .
Wow. You're a good driver..... 13.0 @116. I don't think you coulda done any better in that stang....most likely worse, a LOT worse. So before you start saying this guy sucks at drivin' remember that he probably has twice the horsepower you do.

"with no traction doing a 13.0 at 116" Wow maybe you should read...

Streets with 480 hp doesn't mesh well. It was an auto too... not SUPER hard to be a bad driver there.

seems like some people aren't reading.. i posted this a page ago..

The car also was taken to California, where it was dyno-tested at PowerTrain Dynamics, one of the top dyno facilities in the country. On a run with 20 psi of boost, they had to let off at 4500 rpm as the boost was climbing a little too high. Still, the car put down 630 rwhp @ 4500 and 787 rwtq @ 4100. The torque peaked at 4100 rpm but the horsepower was still climbing! These are actual numbers at sea level, no correction factoring. The boost was then turned down to a more street-friendly level, peaking at 15psi but bleeding down to 13psi (need a different boost controller), and the car made 572 rwhp @ 4600 and 708 rwtq @ 4000. The car was tested using Phillips 66 118 octane gasoline, 27° total timing. There was no detonation.

This car has out-of-the box Edelbrock Performer heads, Cobra intake (lower matched to Edelbrock runners) and a B-303 cam. The short block is completely stock with the exception of ARP bolts. It still has the stock displacement, crank and rods. The turbo kit is the base HP STAGE I kit with the C&L MAF, 42 lb injectors, a 1:1 regulator and the base HP hybrid 60 mm turbo. The transmission is a World Class T-5 with a SPEC Stage III clutch, tires are 28x10.5 ET Drags with 3.73 gears. The power curves are as flat as Kansas.

Anthony regularly drives this completely street-legal car on pump gas on the streets of Albuquerque (elevation 5,200 ft.) and then drives it to the strip to make consistent runs in the low 10's and 138 mph!
i'm sure the car tracks straigt and i'm sure the guy can dive. at the time of the video it was on the 570rwhp level.. he even says it in the video.
