good runs.. I'd say it's pretty even between the two.. but a quick question.. if your keeping it to have it as a collector's car.. why mod it? that will take away from the value won't it? if it is a orginial collector car?

If he has all the stock parts he can always put them back in. I know I never would, but its not impossible

I got all my stock parts still: got my entire exhaust assembled and hanging from my garage roof by bicycle hooks actually! Gonna stick the stock airbox up there, too: and my skid plate, tow brackets, and misc. other brackets that I've removed for weight savings. Heads, cam, and torque converter will be up on the ceiling soon. Someday I might just have an entire engine and trans hooked to that exhaust- Good thing I have a tall ceiling!

Great cars and good races. Agreed that some practice and/or faster shifting is at hand, but I understand people wanting to take it easy on their transmissions. They're not cheap to fix but in my opinion, you've gotta be willing to take that risk if you wanna modify a car and race it! Otherwise it's hard to tell what the true potential of each really is, such as in these videos.

hahaha!! What a joke!! You don't want to mess up your car but you are street racing it? Just admit it. You suck at driving!!

You won't get any sympathy from me on the whole collector car thing. If I had the rarest car in the world I would mod it up and race the crap out of it (actually I would immediately dump it for a bunch of cash, but the point is that collector status means very little to me).
If that is your reason for shifting so slow then I wouldn't go out racing your collector car. Great looking Firehawk, btw!

You have an over .600 lift cam, rev it to 6,800rpms, and don't make 400rwhp? Damn.

It's called a real dyno stopsign: not one of those bullshit happy dyno's that so many guys seek out.
