Machs are very impressive......here is a vid of mine. It made 300rwhp N/A and 425/550 on spray with 4:10's. The Cobra in this vid made 480/514. The Z06 ran 11.60 at 118. The yellow C6 trapped 117. The T/A makes 340. the last 2 races were 40 rolls are both on motor and they were 40 rolls.

Here is another one with me spraying froma 40 roll. The car is a heads cam car with a small cam but good heads. Made 420 through a 9 in. With gears. Car trapped 118.

Cory, for some reason I always pictured your Mach 1 as being red, lol. Cool races! I love the nitrous for the ability to turn it off (lets me race alot more cars) and because you can make the same peak power as another car (or or less) and still pull away.

Allow me to introduce you to a stock Mach 1 motor...

That's not stock. Those Cobra Jet emblems add at least 10hp

And very few things in this world live up to their potential.

Potential if nothing if you don't take advantage of it.

Regarding v6's matching power, I would hope technology from 2010 surpasses technology that was used in the 97-04 years. Keep in mind that although rated at 305hp, the LS1's generally dyno tune high 200's to the wheels from the factory

That is one CLEAN Mach 1 btw OP. Sounds pretty damn good too.

What are you going to do when a Mustang outruns you? Argue that your car has better potential? Who gives a damn?

We are on a LS1 site right? I sure don't want to bash a LS1 on the RSX boards.

In that case, I would argue that mine makes more horsepower per liter...oh wait, is that ricer of me?

Well as far as potential is concerned, technically...
The quickest car with a 4.6l modular ford motor is quicker than the quickest LSX car with any displacement motor.
Sorry to pee in your lemonade.

It was a joke, LS1's don't really make very good HP per liter, but as long as I'm winning who cares

Mustangs have out ran me so what doesn't change that the fbody is faster than the mach1 stock for stock mod for mod.

I couldn't give a damn about HP/L, just pointing out maximum potential and looking at the quickest representative cars using each style of motor in racing in racing.

From what I've seen, a stock manual Mach 1 Vs a stock manual LS1 f-body is usually a driver's race.
Bolt-on for bolt-on, they stay relatively even as well.
The difference begins with more serious mods. The LS1 can get a big lead with just a cam for little money.
But, it would take heads and cam to make the same power as a mach 1 with just a blower. Still, the mach 1 would have a bit more money invested I think.

It doesn't exactly matter though. Everything is nearly irrelevant when you bring up modifications, prices, and potential race outcomes.
