Default 3v Stang Kill

Hangin around at the car meet tonight, everyone wants to hear the new exhaust so I hop in and rev her up real quick. I knew i'd catch attention as soon as that happened too haha. So I'm standing there talking to my friends and a few guys walk over and asks who owns the red camaro. We start talking about it and he asks if I wanna run his 2008 stang. He says hes just intake and tune so I walk over and check it out just to make sure. He was telling the truth except he has mufflers but stock from the manifolds to the mufflers. We start negotiating, he wants a 30 roll and I want a 35 so we decide to do both. We get out on the highway and get down to 35 for the first one. I honk it off, we go, and he jumps out about half a car. I start reeling him around 80 but we came up on traffic and I had to slow down. So we get straight and go for the 30. I honk it off and we go, he jumps out a nose on me but I start walking by him pretty quick, and by 130 i've got about 2 and a half cars on him. We both had passengers. The guy was really cool, threw a thumbs up after both races, and was really cool about the races after we got back to the meet. Probably the closest race i've had so far, and good to meet a cool stang owner!

cliff notes: 35 roll= I start to pull, shut down because of traffic, 30 roll= he jumps on me, I reel him in quick and put 2 1/2 cars on him by 130.

Thanks for reading, discuss

True, but the word "tune" is used lightly these days. He could used a handheld on it and said it was tuned, but idk. I need a taller gear like ASAP.

Nice kill! Wonder how much you picked up with the longtubes? I might have to come out there one night...Sure I'd raise some eyebrows.

Thanks man! IDK how much I gained but I can feel it. Not like I slapped spray on it, but can still feel the extra pickup. Gonna hit the dyno soon and seeing what I can do at Greer on the 13th with slicks. But you should definitley come out there man, you'd definitley turn some heads!

The 13th? I might come out there and see how you do. I'll bring the truck though lol, you need it at Greer. You need some gears, tune, and take the car to Zmax! I'd say.....mid 12's.

Some people catch feelings over runs. This guy was cool tho, and told me it was a good race and that I had a stout LS1 car. Very cool guys!

pacesetters=win. Everyone talked about how they were the best bang for the buck as far as longtubes and they weren't kidding, these things are great. they sound BADASS and the extra torque is pretty nice too
