Ya that sounds more like it.
That's funny, the BS keeps flying but this time we have some proof how the car runs against a cobalt. I bet the guy in CTS-V was in 5th gear when they took off

What do you think is a fair speed to race from? I don't want anyone claiming I had some kind of unfair advantage.

Dig? 20? etc... I'm on all season tires but I don't mind going from a stop.

This thread turned bad quick.... Worst part is that it's all gm cars running and still grabbing each other by the throat. OP good run and juice good run. I like both the cars running I only wish my wifes cobalt ss/tc could have some mods done to it (warranty) so I could turn a few heads in this town. Good runs to both guys

Folks in OZ have run 9s on the stock IRS, its not like the shitty one in the CTS-V. Not saying its normal but the IRS in the Holden cars are lot better.

I'd say to a big variety. Best out of 5?
Dig
low roll [10-30ish]
mid roll [30-50ish]
your race of choice
his race of choice
---also, pick a speed at which to stop, or a certain amount of distance between, so no one stops while someone is pulling. i suggest 130ish (or top of 4th)

*repeats allowed for choice races, and i guess you can do a high roll if you want, but anything starting above 60 IMO is and should be left for FWD cars that cant hook.

put a camera in each car (even point at the gear stick so no bs comes up about that crap again) maybe even add a mounted go pro or a chase car a car up ahead to show winner. also, tape speed at end of race (or distance between, whichever you choose) to varify the win.

that should cover everything. no excuses, no bitching about something unfair. plan it all out and then post up for a good bashing on the loser

I have thought about going that route just the price is a lil more then I can afford right now but I'm thinking next year gm stage 1 and Hahn exhaust or might even go with a custom exhaust.... Trying to keep it some what quiet haha. There will be a few cars around my town that would like to race the lil turbo berry hahaha.
