It was a great win for me installed the cam go test it out end up killing a shelby gt 500. My friend chicken out the one with the camaro. He don't want to give me a rematch. I just have to keep harrasing him.

Nice kill. For the record they are RATED at 540 at the flywheel, not the wheels. Underrated for sure, but still less than 500whp. The 2011 will be running an aluminum 5.4 based on the Ford GT's, that one will be even more of a monster.

Again .. good kill. Having said that, I wouldn't get cocky about it and think you can take any GT500. The guy had more car than you. He probably didn't know how to drive it.

II don't know all the models. I only know of 3 the v6, v8, and the shelby. I the car I raced said shelby gt 500. On that car I thought it has a 5.4 supercharged and they put out 540, to the fly don't know what they dyno.I thought the hp rate when up for 2010 to 540 from 500. Is there other engins in the car with shelby 500 badge. I don't know that's way I ask, I did think I would win,but I did.
I didn't know full boltons and a cam is still stock. When they ask me what you got done, Im going to say its stock. Lol. If they told me the same thing I would call bs. He had 2 passengers I had one. But that's not enough for me to win. He down shifted before we took off, the only thing I can think of he was in the wrong gear. But he was walking me untill I shifted. Then I was walking him. What do you think happen. He should have won, how many cars you think he should have put on me.
I know I beat the driver. I figured no matter how bad the driver he should of won. If a stock honda civic post up that he beat a c6 z06. Everyone will post bs and if its true the guy don't need to own a z06. I raced a friend with a camaro he had headers, cam, fast dyno 412hp. I didn't have my cam he beat me by 2 cars. I was hopeing I can beat the driver but lost. He's a bad driver don't know when to shift what gear to take off in. He took off in 3rd instead of 2nd gear granny shifted every time.ran 3x lost every time. I am getting my rematch today. They stang must have been a worst driver.

English is not my first language. That's why all the miss spelling and grammer errors. I type to slow and get ahead of were I am typeing. Some of it I do speak like i type. I didn't know I have to break in the cam. I though its a used cam its broken in already. I will take easy on the car but for how long. Not no 12,000 miles. I do need a tune bad, when I installed the cam I didnt think I would need a tune. One the cam was in the car before it blew. 2 its a small cam little bigger then stock, Its no ms4 or T-Rex. I am going to try and get a tune next week. Got high hopes, I hope it hits over 400whp lol. It dynoed 354whp 368trq the first day I got it. Went from the dealer ship to the dyno. It had lid, ls1 intake, cam and headers

I know that's why I said high hopes. Realy I am expectin 360 to 380. If I hit 400 everyone is going to call bs. That dyno is broken go to a diff dyno. That's a giving dyno jet that I will never pull that on a mustang dyno.

Odarabla is right you beat the driver not the car. Hell a win is a win though good kill. We just dynoed a bone stock 1000 mile 2010 GT500 on a 90 degree day (It was 105 in the dyno room) on a dyno jet. He was getting ready for some mods and wanted a baseline. If your interested in the baseline and some of the tremendous potetial of the 2010 GT500 read this thread.

the GT500 is a hell of a car. Are any 2011's on the road yet? I wanna see how the lost weight affects it's ability on the street.
