First up runs with Whitelightning and blue LS3:

The blue LS3 had a similar cam to mine making 480rwhp. I didn't get a motor run with him. On n20 of coarse he ran away.

To my surprise with me having a 210lb passenger. Feldman having no passenger. I was at Feldmans back bumper to 140 several times. We did 3 or 4 runs identical. 50 to 140'ish.

Stock '99 yellow Viper. Traps 120 @ Dallas Raceway:
50 to 150 I put 2 lengths on him each time. We did the same run 4 or 5 times. He thought I was lying about me trapping 120. He said I must be doing mid 120's.

A head/cam red T/A jumped in and he got walked. He gave me the thumbs up. Nice car.

CBR 600
An almost clean run he got a slight jump 50 to 130'ish he had 3-4 lengths. Later on 50 to 140 I was reeling him in.. I know he was fighting the wind. He was impressed. He said "man please tell me you have some serious mods in that thing." I said just a cam and bolt ons. Not near as big as the black vettes cam.


Black C6 z06
On the way home ran into a Black C6 z06. He was driving like a nut. I tried getting next to him.. he waited.. he reved up before I got next to him and took off.. I chased and reeled him. I let out because he needed a lane but I had a solid pull even with him taking the jump.

The car had a big DC sticker on the back. He asked if I had a z06 I said umm no it's a c6. He asked what I had done.. I said cam and bolt ons.. he said oh just like me. I hope not! LOL. He took off.

New Jaguar.. not sure what model.. chrome emblems on the the side.
He pulled the same stunt got next to me and took off. I chased him down and passed him by top of 3rd.. 115'ish.

LMAO at the Z06 owner. I know the general public can't really tell the difference between Vette models and your car looks similar to a Z06, but any true Vette enthusiast should be able to tell the difference between a Z06 and a base C6.

Nice kills. I have yet to run a cammed LS3 but I am willing to bet one will give me a run for my money on the street. Nice car OP.

Nice night! That race with the bike probably surprised the hell out of him- though he did have to go around a car. Your vette hauls *** extremely well for just basic mods! Makes me drool to think of how my car will be with some ported L92/LS3 heads and a mid sized cam. Not in your league obviously, but at least I can go hunting C5 Z06's and base C6 LS3's!

Yeah there were a few times I got the bike.. I didn't post about it since I assumed he either got a bad start or was fighting the wind.. that run looked clean besides him going around the viper. you can tell I reeled him in at the end!

He was definitely surprised.. he kept wanting to run.. we did like 6 runs.

They trapp like 117-121 mph..usually more like 118 is the norm..

Your 495 rwhp and 32xx pounds verses his 410 rwhp and 34xx pounds..Should have been a solid 3-4 lengths by 150 mph..

I feel confident that a 500 rwhp 427 ci 31xx pound Z06 is a bit faster than a 495 rwhp 365 ci 32xx pound c6..

Id think his C6 would barely edge out a stock C6Z06..Maybe 1=2 cars ahead by 140 mph..

I would love to race him...he has 20 more rwhp..I have 60 more rwt..Were both 32xx pounds...Would be fun for sure


Admitedly..Even though he had a passenger I still dont see how a stock GTS would only be two cars back from him at those speeds??????

A GTS will be 2 cars behind a srt10 at 140 mph..A srt10 will be 3 cars behind a C6Z06 at 140 mph..His car seems to be 1-2 car ahead of c6Z06's at 140 mph..

Meaning he should be 5-7 cars ahead of a GTS at 140 mph..I would put buses on a stock GTS..

I think the GTS guy was lying

That's alot of bench racing right there. The Viper had smooth tubes and exhaust.. whatever smooth tubes is I don't know. He said he trapped 120 and it's a '99. That's all I know about his car.
