actually considering that he has around 300 rwhp more than i do..im pretty happy with the results..I won that first race..he was coming up from behind but couldnt reel me in...

I defiently wasnt expecting to win anything..

As well my quick tourque allowed me to pull ahead a car or two and hold the lead for a lil while..yes he ended up blowing by me..but then when he shifted and was back in lag and I was in good all the time NA power..he only ended up 2 cars in front of me by shut down...


Shut downs were all around 130 mph..Of course if we went to 160 mph he woulnt only be 2 cars ahead..more like 5-6..


To date this was the fastest car I have ever raced..this would pull my friends 500 rwhp C6Z06 so fas that it's scary how truly GOD-ZILLA this car is...Me and the cammed Z06 are very close..maybe he;s 1-1.5 cars ahead at 150 mph....But we dont hold a candle to this highly modded GTR

Yea...I was thinking that headers...throttle body and more agressive tuneing with the stock head done over a lil for 550 rwhp SAE might allow me to get enough of a lead off the jump to be very competitive..

But remember he had a 270 pound passenger, I HAD NONE...So his car will only be that much faster

i say do it, headers are pricey tho $2400-$3700.
spend the 3k or so to get headers/tb/retune and get him! those things seem to add about 40ish whp.

It's all in perspective. I new about this car before it ever even started being built. With the specs and $$$ the GTR was planning on me and a close 1000 rwhp supra buddy both agreed that this was gonna be one of the meanest cars in our state..

I mean..775 awhp on a car that can run low 11's with the stock 430 awhp..or can beat a stock ZR1 with just 550 rwhp (HKS 570 kit)

We knew this car was gonna change the car scene in our home city..

So for me to beat him on that first run..it truly blew my mind...I felt like ***** F**kin King Kong..

And thats why the 12 year old girl screaming insued..

After I hit 550 rwhp NA with throttle body/headers/light stock head work..I mean..the car does decent with 475 rwhp so another 75 rwhp on top from those mods should really wake her up..

Then maybe Ill do a 75 shot or so..last time I used the juice I blew the clutch in my nsx...So Im kinda afraid of the stuff
