Default another one bites the dust!!!

well went to my local track tonight for some tnt, track was fairly empty not many people there so i raced by myself most of the night, then i see this guy pull up in a late 90s ss camaro asked what he had done to it, he said longtubes cam 3200 stall. i asked if he wanted to run he said sure " we both on street tires" first race he sixty foots me and tree's me but i catch him and pass him barely. i hit 3rd and broke loose bad got completely out of it and got back in it and beat him to the finish line. he mph me cause i was out of the throttle. second race he lowers his tire pressure to 28 "mine still at 40psi" and we run again i had traction issues worse and he got me this race by half car. it run good though. cool guy too.

Good runs. 40 psi on a street tire? Are you dry humping me? You never listed your mods BTW.

Late 90's? Was it an LS1 or an LT1?
What do you have done to your fox?

Oh, and the shift key is to the left of the "Z" key, and below the "Caps Lock" key.

Yeah, what mods.

Nevermind, I found most of them. Sounds like you've got a stout notch with a stroked 347. Nice.

You should really get your keyboard fixed though.

yeah i know, i think chevy made my keyboard lol jk. yeah its a hci 347. the only downfall is that the heads i have dont flow anymore than a stock gt40 head. i'm looking at getting some trickflow 205s though. flow 299cfm at 500 lift out of the box

it should be good for some 7.1 on sticky tires with them heads.

You gotta know as well as the rest of us if you have warped valves you're gonna drop one sooner or later, right? And being a 5.0 owner, you no doubt know exactly what a split block looks like, too.

I ran 8.4 at 84mph 2.02 60ft with my stock gto on street tires. So your car must of had some thing wrong with it for sure.
