That site he posted is a total joke.The 2001 SS camaro had a 5-speed????The 2002 was a pic of a 97.AND a 2003 Z06 ran a 13.1
I could do that starting in 2nd gear with Z06

magazine numbers are ridiculous....i think they purposely rate 0-60 and 1/4 mile times for "the average person" who doesn't bang every gear and drive the crap out of their car.....they are more interested with evaluating a car in the real world then wringing it out to test its merits as an all out performance car.....with a few exceptions, magazine numbers are almost ALWAYS painfully slower than reality.

I am not attempting to bench race, but I have seen numbers for the Maseratti's 1/4 and 0-60 that are two to three tenths faster. However, I hope and believe the GM vehicle will win. Does he have anything done to his car and how good a driver is he??? You probably have more street racing and drag racing experience than your Italian bred friend. Plus, I bet you have a lot more experience in your car, and your car is slightly modded.
