Lt1s race
well tonight i raced another auto lt1 supposedly he was going to leave me in the dust because it was modded well i decided to call him out from a 35/40 roll since i have no tread.... well we line up i honked and right off the bat my car jumped up ahead and slowly started to see him from my rear view mirror on both runs.............we had spectator they all said i beat him by at least 3 cars kinda surprise to me because my car is basically stock just has a drop in cold air intake,2800 stall, straight piped on stock manifold to the back with no cats... and thats about it let me know what you all think.......a video might be posted dont know his friends recorded so maybe a loss to him will cause them to delete it
well i beg to differ
............well the mods i was told/herd were LT headers, ram air intake,58mm tb and that all i heard............and yeah my car is an A4.........and the speed well right off the bat i started to roll away...and i looked down by 95/100 i was up head a pretty good some i let off around 120mph

Looks like he is ready to start the real mods though, if he gets a stall he will take ya.
If you were both autos and you are stalled while he isnt, then he can have quite a few more bolt-ons then you and still lose.
Stalls are worth a ton on auto LT1s.

thanks and well got werd today he had a 2800 stall too lol so i dunno and we did it from a roll arent stalls only for dig racing?

Stalls don't just make you launch harder, but a proper stall for your car will use its shift extension to keep you almost always in your power range...basically, the rpms won't drop down nearly as much between shifts.
This is another reason why mod for mod a stalled auto is quicker(not faster) in the 1/4 then a manual even though it puts down a smaller number on a dyno.

.
a rematch has been set for later on in the week so we'll see whats up
I agree

Nice kill. Rematch must have a video
