Default G37 vs 98 ss

I noticed this car few days ago in town because it had nice wheels with huge lip;nice car. Anyway, I'm going out and take the Mexican highway..and I see this black G37 again that is passing me on the highway.

I catch on him a bit to see what could happen. Traffic is clear and I pass him slowly in 6th gear.

As soon as I'm 2-3cars ahead, I see hes coming back fast in my mirror. We were doing 80ish mph.

I downshift in 3rd and wait for him to be by my door and I stop his pull immediatly and shift 4th and gun it until almost the end of this long gear and I have put a bus and a half+ on him.

I slow down and the guy never came back by to side and stayed way back even if we were going the same direction

I was with a good friend and he told me:''take that with your 50K$ car(canadian $)!!''..we had a good laugh but I know the G37 coupe is still a nice car. I thought at first it was a G35 but he pointed out to me it was a G37...

The guy had a catback from what I could see, if its good for any hp over stock...Nothing fantastic about this kill, but its good to have action with nice cars sometimes instead of the usual ricers in town..

CLIFF NOTES;

nice G37 ask for some LS1 racing and got beat by a bus and a half..or 2 from top 3rd to end of 4th gear!! Nothing special, it had nice wheels and catback. The owner might have been hurt

Good kill. Those G37s are sexy as hell, but not the fastest thing in the world.

Good kill indeed. G37s are relatively quick cars with comfortable Interiors. The suspension is very stiff on those cars IMO.

Good kill. I really am tired of seeing G35s/G37s driven by owners that think they are fast. Its the standard yuppie car in my area, and every well-to-do hip doucher drives them like they are freakin F1 cars.

hehe, nice. My fiance'e has a G37 and I really like the car. For her, It was a choice between that and a 370Z, and in the end she went with the G37. Very comfortable and the auto trans in sport mode is excellent. It's pretty quick, I'd say a high 13 second car, but it's no match for a H/C LS1.

If it was the case for the one I raced, he knows he is slow now
