2010 Camaro...
2010 Camaro... Found myself next to one of these at a light... Very pretty Red one.
It was a SS as I saw the badging and you can also tell by the front Facia/hood area.
anyways the windows came down on both cars (me in the GTO) and of course 'conversation' broke out....
I yelled out, "Very sexy car"
his reply was, "It's very fast also, over 400hp, more then your GTO"
Light goes green and he takes off and leaves me, as I didn't bite because this intersection would be risky to do so in my GTO....
I eventually catch up with him aways up the road, his window comes down and he is laughing and he yells out "I told you"...
I yelled back, "I actually think your sexy car is a slowpoke"...
He quickly loses his smile and says lets do it again.... we are rolling at 40mph..
I told him, feel free to floor it, and I'll do likewise, and blow around you like you are standing still..
He laughs and floors it, and a now angry Maybellene does likewise..
Since he floored it 1st he managed about a 1 car lead as a 40mph roll is the worst spot for my A4 GTO.... But Maybellene transforms into a runaway train, slams me into the seat as the ***-end wiggled side to side, then just blew around that Camaro like it had 4 flats and was stuck in quicksand.
I stayed in it up to ........ (I'm not telling) putting multiple semi truck lengths on this character...
It was a convincing dominating one-sided affair.
I slow down awaiting him to catch up to see what he may have to say now..
but before he finally does catch up, he abruptly turns off...

Id love to do that to any cocky car owner weather it be a stupid ricer or a 2010 Camaro (I have respect for anything fast but love my GM's lol) but unfortunately I dont have the "right" car to do so yet 
looking for a c5 Zo6 in about a year.
Anyway nice job, though I cant say the same for most newer V8 sports cars, I LOVE the look on the stupid ricers faces when they see a truck with 20s fly past thier ricer "flyby"

you are correct sir, the GTO has twins, so it wasn't a fair fight.
I like the new Camaros, and tend to wave at the drivers or give a thumbs up, and have yet to get acknowledged, they all seem to ignore me for some reason...

1) odds of getting her to race in the first place are slim
2) even if she does race, and you win, you can almost guaranty that she was lacking the driver mod since 99% of females have less driving skill than your average 17yr old boy.
3) it's most likely her boyfriends or husbands car, or she bought it just for show. This last one you might be rolling your eyes at as a stupid reason why guys will not race you, but it's as valid to us as any of the others above. Last thing we want is OUR ladies racing our cars when they run to the store in them.
not saying any of those apply to you^^^^^ MT, but it can't be argued that they apply to most females. Your case is the exception to the rule that proves the rule.

put a few LS1GTO.com or LS1Tech.com stickers in your window: preferably in pink. Or have "LittleMT" written on your window. Got to let the guys know its your car, and that you are into cars. other than that I dont know what you could do?
