Nice runs. Your Viper looks good, Killemall. Props to you for racing a faster car and knowing that you are going to lose.
I have been getting beat up lately around here too by some fast cars, lol. It's all in good fun!!

what in the hell has been beating your tt lambo??????????

I raced a Turbo camaro a few weekends ago and got beat by about 2 cars to 140 (after getting the jump, lol)
It's FAST!! But it is nice to race really fast cars and get whooped here and there.
My car is not that fast. It's still on the stock motor. It's slower than that GTR you ran on race gas.

This time he learned his lesson and started in 1st and 2nd at every race..
I started in second gear..but honestly I kinda want to go again because 2nd gear at 40-50 mph is really a dead spot for me. My car will do 62 mph in first gear. If we ever go again I will defiently start in first at say 30-40 mph

Will you hook from a first gear roll?
I dont think many people commenting here have driven in a viper, there is a reason they dont slam gears, and thats because that would give them a good chance to slam into a wall, the torque really is unreal in the cars, and when they break loose(which they do so so easily) there is no traction or stability control to help out. A "driver mod" in a viper is managing not to crash it during a race, they just dont drive like normal cars.

The craziest thing is that when I raced the GTR at 800 HP he was starting in 3rd and 4th gear each race..
This time he learned his lesson and started in 1st and 2nd at every race..

If you start from your sweet spot, you might get the jump and it will be a matter of seconds before he passes. That car is out of your league.
Get some real mods on that beast and try again.

I find a lot of people bash the Viper because they think the car is just too torque-y and just can't get the power down to the road. I think they're somewhat right but it just takes a great driver to make them drive great.. and once you do then they are wonderful machines. I've driven a 1993 Viper RT/10 (it's actually my dad's -- all stock including the tires, excluding drop-in filters and resto-dash.) and it's scary.
Anyways, enough drooling... these are some awesome races between two of my favorite cars: Vipers and GT-R's. I think you kept up pretty good!

see the thing is you can only be a great driver so often..I really pushed the limits a few years ago..id start a race at 50 mph in 1st gear in my 99 viper or 2003 viper..I probally had over 100 street races against all kinds of cars...But all it takes is that one time were the car goes sideways when you hit the gas pedal..Then theres only so much you can do..All cars of course can do this but even my stock 99 Viper had 465 rwt sae at only 3500 rpm's...The 2003 was 490 rwt and the 2008's are 530 rwt sae...
in comparison a C6Z06 is 430 rwt thanks to that big old 476 ci...And most higher HP cars arent even 400 rwt...
In this yellow viper of mine Ive already got around 20 races against a z06 and 15 races against this GTR and maybe 10 races against supras and 5 races against a tt G35 plus a race against a supercharged m3...
So already over 50 races..Like I said..how many races can you do before somthing happens??????????

Very simple preventative measure: Stop racing. You won't wreck your cars then.
