Killed another 2V...
Drove through Sonic the other night and found a guy with a 02 GT M5 with full bolt ons (his exact words), 3.73s, short throw shifter, and a tune. So we go out on a deserted road and run the first race from a 35 roll. He got the jump and held it until about 70 when i put a fender on him before we stopped for a red light. We went again on green, this time i got the jump and held it all the way to 130. It was the closest race Ive ever been in. He was at my door the entire time, and when i finally shut it down he was still right there. It was a great race and a super cool mustang guy. He was by himself and I had a 250 lb passenger in my car who took a vid on my phone (its a enV 3. anyone know how to get the vid to my Mac??).
Next i am racing a co worker with a 01 GT M5 as soon as he gets his clutch broken in. He has full bolt ons with stock gears. I just ordered a SLP lid, 3" ORY and Hooker catback. I am also going to P&P my TB before we race. Then a tune, but probably after the race.

Those 2 valves can surprise you SOMETIMES... My buddy has a supercharged one that pulls pretty hard. I bet the tune is what really woke it up... Or he has something that your dont know about... supercharger *cough* *cough*
Ahh, that explains it. Question: do you make a habit of going into a gunfight with a revolver sporting every other round removed? hint hint
