So me and my friend took a little cruise to snap pics near the Golden Gate Bridge. On the way we did 2 runs. The 1st run was from a 1st gear roll and when we let off he had a car on me. 2nd run was a little better for the both of us because we didn't have to let out that early, but we started in 2nd and by mid to top of 4th he got me by 2 cars. All he has done is exhaust from what we know. I was expecting to lose so I wasn't surprised. I'll post up the pics later today.

That's suprising for a bolt on ls1 to keep up with a car with more whp and about 400-500lbs less. But anything can happen on the streets

Bolton LS1? He's all stock, but with a different muffler/rear valance setup. << either that, or he's modded and doesnt feel like he needs to bother telling us his mods by <gasp> putting them in his sig like everyone else does.

Nice race though: a full? exhaust Z06 is no joke to beat from a roll. Your LS1 -- yours is a LS1 and not a LT1, right?-- must be the worlds fastest stock Camaro!

this past sunday i raced a random blue c5 z06 on the highway by half a car length in my 02 ws6 m6. i dont know what he had but i have tr230 cam,basic bolt ons, stock 3.42 gears. we did a 50 roll to 110mph. i started in 2nd gear and ended in 3rd. i was thinkin he was gonna pull me but guess not. then he gave me thumbs up.

In the meat of my powerband, 2nd gear, 55mph, a C5Z pulled me about 2 CLs. Sounds right to me.
