So im going down the road and notice a cobalt ss on my right so i throw a little rev as we slow down to the stop light. He says, "you want to?" and I say, "yeah sure"

We go from a dig and I start pullin on him from the get go and by 85 i have about a bus length on him. He says, "Wanna go from a roll?" "Yeah sure why not" He stays with me for a while but i start pullin on him and put a half car on him. The roll was from 40 to 90 so my A4 didnt down shift.

We slow down and he asks my mods so I tell him (check sig) and that I didn't down shift because I'm an auto. He said "Yeah you would have beaten me even worse, nice car." I gave him a thumbs up and go on my way.

Cool guy, but i never got a chance to ask him his mods

 

Was it a turbo cobalt? I am assuming it was since he kind of put up a fight. Nice kill, at least the guy was cool about it.

honestly i have no idea. it must have been but i didnt really hear any whining or a turbo. i couldnt hear much because my passenger side window motor broke last week and i havent fixed it yet, and the only way i could talk to him was because the t tops were down.

 

nice......interesting how the cobalt threads are getting more common


id like to hope people will undersand im game to go and to stop ignoring the lil cobalt

 

mainly because there not that quick in stock form lol. but watch out... there BEASTs with a tune. they run 8.7 seconds with just the GM tune.......in the 1/8 that is

good kill. i always hated when my TA wouldnt downshift. always did my best never to roll race from 38-50ish range seemed to be the range where i would be stuck in low rpms in 2nd.

 

They aren't so tough.
