Default Met a good driver with his 347 foxbody

We are out on a meet and agree to run a foxbody with a built 347, H/C setup. Nice ride, looked freshly painted.

Good runs, he was definitely starting to pull on you in the 2nd vid before he let off.
By the way, if he had heads and cam on a 347, I can assure you almost 99% that he had a different intake, too.

That 1 extra cubic inch that he had over you really helped, lol. The weight advantage was on his side.

what was all that BS the driver was saying in the first vid manny? Assume that innocent little school girl voice was yours?

"He jumped, he jumped"

What he did was EXACTLY what he should have done with you starting your honking with him 1/2 car back: leave a tad early to even it up with you, just like deep staging at the track. He also timed it perfectly btw- would have been a red light at a track, true, but on the street his launch timing was perfection even if you guys had been lined up evenly, 99% of the street racers would agree his takeoff timing was legitimate enough for a postable street race kill.

J/K about your squeeky voice. It's just a stage we all go through.

Not me lol. It was my buddy, he sounds like a girl lol. I know I wouldn't have got him , just wanted to know how I would do. If anything he is putting little more power down and he is lighter. He had most of the advantages.

Nice puppy kicking on the Mustang's part. Why didn't you stay in it in the 2nd run? He was starting to pull pretty hard. You and your friend seem like you don't like giving a heads up race. Either you have to be half a length ahead or the little kid riding shotgun is saying go right after the 2nd honk.

I agree lol. First race he says he jumped(but if you look you were only a half second behind him on the hit and he pulle dlike a freight train.

Second race Id take the jump if the guy wont let me get even with him. ANd your buddy says go on the second honk lol. Kinda ricer.

But good try running with a faster car.

You forgot the letting off the throttle and cutting the video off right before the other car absolutely rips the doors off Manny's car.

Anyone other than Manny want to translate the Mexican talk at the end of the 2nd video?

Stopsign, we let off cause a turn was coming up. It was just a little quick run. First run he did jump a little but he was going a little quicker then me, had momentum. He was built so no excuses on my part. I knew I would get my *** handed to me but just wanted to see how I would do, and also I missed 3rd and just gave up. Nice FOXBODY and he was a cool guy. Like I said he had the advantage in weight and better gearing. I'll still spank a 331

how do you know he had AFRs and a mild cam but dont know if he has an intake manifold. too many variables, could be 250, could be 375 could be more.

Good runs you got yanked haha but that was expected against and well thought out 347. Like the other guys said there are too many variables to say about what he is making without knowing the specifics.
