First off, i want to give the termi credit. very fast car, and a very good driver at the wheel. two races both 30-110 roughly. Mods
Lt1 ta-full bolt ons and exhaust, cc503 cam, 150 plate kit. minor suspension. 373s
03 cobra- Pullied, tuned, straight axle conversion and some exhaust? not sure how much, just think cat back. and 456 gears.
Both cars has passengers, he had his girl i had my buddy who weighs 280 with me. dont, make a difference from a roll anyway. just there cause i know someone will ask.
Only got one vid, as you will be able to hear, he drives the **** out of that car.....
we both spun like a mother on the second run anyways...

because it runs DAMN good, lol. Lt cars are notorious for having a ton of bottom end grunt, but i couldnt leave him like i thought i would. for what that car has it runs really well, he ran 11.9 granny shifting. that race he was power shifting. im sure its a 11.6-11.7 car.

Why put 4.56 gears in a pullied 03 Cobra? Stupid.
Here is the same 03 Cobra losing to a Challenger with some mufflers.

By doing the mods we have done, we moved out of the realm of close to 'stock street cars' and into the realm of 'purpose built street/strip cars'. aka we are now little fish in a big pond. your choice whether you decide to call it enough when it comes to speed and mods: if you want to hang in the little pond and rule it, all the more power to you. -- or you can keep competing and modding and work your way up the heirarchy of the new pond you are in.
I choose to stay in the big pond. Humility is a bitter pie to eat though! Try not to have to eat too many slices.

I'll be there regardless, I am still contemplating racing since I am not tuned yet (and just added longtubes and ported intake to my H/C car), even though I will be very soon. This would be my last free Tuesday since next week school starts and I'll have to skip my night class if I ever want to run.

Good kill!
I will say that everyone always says that LT1's have so much "grunt" down low, but from my experience that's just the perception (how they feel) because they run out of breath up top. Does anyone actually have a dyno showing that a stock LT1 makes more power/torque than a stock LS1 down low?
Gotta be the same car in both vids since there can't be two knuckleheads who thought 4.56's would be a good idea in an 03 Cobra

im pretty sure someone posted some stock dyno numbers and it proved the ls1 made More hp and more TQ at ALL rpm ranges than the lt1. pretty much the ls1 makes more HP from idle till redline if my memory is correct.
