Man, there are alot of forums to follow and I just got the maggie on this back in January. We have had a few G8 meets here and in Greensboro/Durham area. I always liked the last of the Transams, even had a 68 GTO in high school, so decided to go Pontiac one more time not thinking the brand would disappear! Oh yea, thanks

Check out our local upstate SC forum that is listed in my sig. You should ride over our direction sometimes and meet up with some of these guys. Some pretty wicked rides over our way, and we don't build them to just sit there and look pretty either...

those maggie G8's are no joke. friend ran 11.14 & 11.17@124-126 with just; tvs1900, meth, vig 2800, slp headers, stock exhaust w/cats, lingenfelter gt23 cam, on DR's. I love the G8. If i didn't like going to the outerbanks all the time i would have bought a GXP instead of my Yukon.. here's a link to the vid of the car i just mentioned. http://www.streetfire.net/video/pont...mph_209951.htm

Just shoot me a PM next time you are headed to Greenville/Spartanburg area. Sunday nights in Greenville is still the biggest hangout spot for most the cars. Quaker Steak and Lube is the name of the restaurant. Some good races brew up from that parking lot.

There will always be people like that around. A couple of local I4 cars are putting down some big power and have respectable track times, but the majority stick to roll racing only and are <400whp.
