well, i just met up with the owner of that monster g8 gxp. that gxp is truely beautiful! i havent seen one in person yet, let alone a clean sick one like his.
BIGV8LS3 is a real cool guy, and he was real nice to talk to.
hopefully when i get my cam etc.. i can hope to atleast hang with such a beast gxp. doughtful ..
i just wanted to update the thread with some cool news......

You don't need heads to hit high 11's with a G8 GT. Heck there are a few full bolton & stalled guys running 12.1's last I seen. Doing a cam on them can take them deep within the 11's. The stock L92 heads on these cars flow phenomenally so unless you are really planning on making some big N/A horsepower then there isn't much need to swap them out.

Thanks, yes it is hard to go fast when you're rockin a 6L80E with 3 gears that work. I blame it on the heat, the DA, and Obama....

Not that well. Track prep was bad and with no DRs only got a 12.4. I'll have some DRs at the end of the month.

I raced a gxp today. Plates said 1badgxp or something like that. It was a lady driving actually. I thought the gt were faster. So I was surprised. We both ripped onto the highway from a dead stop. She pulled because I broke lose pretty badly and ended up feathering the throttle to get it back. Then we nosed up at about 60 or so. She took a split second jump on me so we stayed nose to nose for a second then I started pulling pretty hard. I beat it on all motor. Had a 150 shot and a fresh bottle but I had just put the heads on and it wasn't tuned properly yet but that would have been a show if I would have sprayed. Sweet cars for sure!
