Default **Vid added**587rwhp GT500 07' VS 530rwhp SS 98' VS Z1000

*all of this happenned in Mexico, on a closed course**

Just happenned! The vert GT500 owner was pretty confident about taking the win on me. I know his car is very heavy at 4100lbs and the SS is 3450lbs. On his second dyno run he made 55xrwhp cause it was heatsoaked I guess. Whatever, its a bunch of rwhp!!

And its been a long time since I'm supposed to run my friend's Z1000 just for fun. I checked a bit and its a low 11s@122+mph.

THE SETUP:
-GT500 has full tune, pulley kit, catback, CAI, 4:10 M6 *TRACTION CONTROL ON* The setup is new and he doesnt want to loose the car which is smart, but that'll cost him performance wise.
-SS is forged H/C/I/E, UDs, stock 3:42, M6, 150jet, very safe nitrous tune.
-Z1000 is stock. Good rider he owned the bike since 4years and he can drive the **** outta it!

1st run; in 2nd gear roll pressure is a bit low 900psi(excuses ), doing 45ish, 3rd honk, GT500 gets the hit, the bike hit it last, I loose traction a bit and the GT500 not. We are side by side, GT500 miss shift and fall back hard 3 cars and hes done. Now the bike took 2 cars on me, I reeled him back till I put a good 3cars on him at 130mph.

2nd run wasnt very fair for the GT500; he started 1.5 cars behind cause of the spot. Anyway, we all kinda started at the same time same speed again. The bike jumps 2 bikes ahead and the GT500 stays beside shortly till he shift then falls back hard 2-3cars again(no miss shift). Bike Stays ahead a bit, I reeled him back slowly till 90-100mph where I begins to pull very good on him, like 3 cars till 135mph again.

3rd run; same race start and outcome, but the bike had a big lead from the start and I couldnt reeled back but we cut it around 110.

I had some minor traction issue in 2nd so I sorta short shifted a bit in 3rd but it wasnt bad. My friend on the bike couldnt started in first cause the bike was lifting the front wheel bad and its a bit cold outhere to make some stunt with a worn rear tire!

I can tell that the GT500 was at my door for the short gear but its too bad we couldnt see the real outcome since he was falling too hard in 3rd gear when traction control was taking over...but its smarter than hitting the bike and the wall after!! For the short time I could see it, his car is moving, I can tell..

***CLIFF NOTES***
-1ST RUN 40-130 GT500 gets the hit, hangs with my 2nd gear, miss a shift and fall back. I hang with the bike and put a good 3+cars above 100mph.
-2ND RUN same outcome with the GT500 but he doesnt miss a shift. Hes falling back hard Same outcome with the bike till 135.
-3RD RUN GT500 falls back again but he started 1.5 behind. The bike got a big pull this time and I was coming back but we cut it at 100 so no reeling back.

bike and SS were having minor traction issue...

All in all it was fun!! I can tell there was some weird noise in my 10bolts LOL..I'm pretty sure something was hurt in there! Video to come when I will install that firewire slot in my comp..I'm lazy!

That 2nd run was kinda unfair for that GT500. I mean you still would've got him, but yeah

yeah it was unfair, as I said in the notes, but there was a 3rd run..same outcome though.
