Bronco is getting Put DOWN
Well guys, the bronco was killing me on MPG's for school ad what not. So i am taking it off the insurance and parking it. I am going to purchase a newer F-150 or maybe a 98 Z71 i found. An exploder might be in the running as well. this new truck will have to hold me and my ****, and system But there is hope for the beast.
New mods in the future:
1)Stripped out interior, then put in spray in bedliner
2)four racing seats with 4 point harnesses
3)10 point cage
4)another two more inches on the suspension lift
5)go to a 5. something gear in the axles
6)38.5 x 15.50 boggers on a 15 bead lock rim
stripping of the interior and installation of the cage starts maybe spring break.
For people wantin to now the power numbers i had on the 100 shot, and cleaned up heads, here you go!

i'd stay below 5.89, as anything that large has a small pinion not good for our big trucks shock loading them in stuck situations. exploders aren't bad, i got a DD exploder V6 4x4 ltd that i'm wanting to drop 4" and do the 5.0 swap with a carbed 302 pushing around 400hp

OHH the bronco is not done, for it will only get better. what is better to go mudding with the top off, run through 4 feet of water, and then when you are done, be able to spray out the inside of the truck!!! HELL YEA!

You are damn right i do!!! im takin 19 hours of school at the University of Texas, makin money right now and trying to finish two cars at the moment is tough ****. I just got a 1929 model A deluxe back together and working. Sorry i have high aspirations to get things done. I have shown everyone on this board the projects i have built. I have no reason to lie on here. Just because i have this as a to do list, does not mean i will get it done in a couple of months. not like 19 hours in one of the best engineering schools in the nation is easy by itself right???

Since everyone is putting up their projects... here is mine...
Vr6 or 2.0L 16v swap-depending on availability and price
New paint job, done by myself
New struts
New tires
New seats
Turbo/supercharger
New Pistons for lower compression
Putting any money left over in the bank for an LS1

You know who doesn't have a "to-do list" ... Idiots. The people who just go out any buy stuff without any possible research.
Personally, I have 5 things on a to-do list ... they are there because it is winter and I'm waiting for the spring to put them on ...
I have lots of plans too ...

Sorry about the retirement of the Bronco...
Well, reincarnation must exist, 'cuase I'm gearing up for....
-Heads (researching still)...
Budget purchase would be PP Stg II Ls6 styles or AP Engineering Stage I.
Pimpin' purchase would be TEA Stage 2.5 on LS6 cores (see those torque numbers posted up on the internals forum?)
-Rear End
Can't decide between a Strange 12 bolt or a Moser 9"
-Clutch
Spec III
Hope to have all these things on by next fall. Hope I'm still married by then (wife hates the car)...

Hey south ... i saw those numbers on the TEA heads, things rocked ....
I'm also tryin to figure out the rear end dilemma ... and I have the Spec 3 already, good clutch. I would go with the carbon one over the one i have as it isnt as chaddery, so i hear.

Yeah, those heads are money performancewise, but will set me back almost 3K.
Thee AP Eng. and the PP's range from $1250 to $1750, but don't produce those killer torque numbers.
I really think I'll go Strange 12 bolt. Have heard nothing but good things about the product, and it seems they set up the gears right from the get go.
