The 600 hp viper can only run the quarter mile as fast as its 500 hp brethren, Im not saying that once its past this point it is not faster. Its just at the limits of its traction capabilities, which are a factor below 80 mph.

By the way the Viper wasnt .3 seconds faster than the ZR1 at the ring it was 3 FULL SECONDS...It is significanly faster.

I was just using car and driver as a basis as to where I was coming from. it is pretty common knowledge that a C6 Z will run 11.7 at around 120 so miles an hour and the ZR-1 runs around 11.3. One test where the ZR-1 runs 11.7 probably just has to do with conditions or drivers....
