How does the Roush system work .... do you buy the car from the dealer and send it to them, they do the work then return it? Is it some sort of option you can order from the factory and the factory sends it to roush (kind of like how GM and SLP worked the firehawks way back when)? Or does roush just send you the **** and you have to install it yourself (doubtful, but who knows).

Bull, my friend has a 02 stage 2 vert...he is selling it because its too slow, he ran 15s with it. I think my 96 V6 bird would have beat it. It has no bottom end at all. Other then that it looks good.

P.S. that was probably a stage 3

I know there is one ford dealer about 30 miles from here that used to sell them. I believe its kinda like how GM and SLP used to do the firehawks.

Hope this thread is not to old for me to chime in. I like reading everyones posts. It's funnt how on the mustang forum the same way about TA'S with all the who knows and I guesses....I have a few friends that are TA owners and I hope you all do not mind if I drop in now and again. The easiest way to tell if a Roush is S/C is the hood. If it has the GT hood the S/C will not fit. Now there are a few versions of the stage 3's you have the 360r and 380r and they both carry the racing stripes main diff. is the tune. Then you have the standard and classic. The classic has no stripes and pipes out the back and the other has the side exhaust. The bad thing is the stage 1 will look like a standard stage 3 with the same body and hood but it mostly comes with a V6 and a softer suspension. They do have stage 1's with the V8 but it will have the GT hood like all stage 2's. Hey I own 1 and I am confused. Ok this is getting winded and I know you prob don't care to know that much. Anyway hope to talk shop with some of you guys in the future.

Ohh 2 ways. One you call Roush and ford and arrange to order the car. The other way is Roush picks a certain number of cars that get shipped to them and then they add the extras and ship them out.

The stage 3 will run 12.89 1/4 according to car and track. The 380r and up makes 380 at the flywheel on 6lbs of boost. When I changed the pulley way back when I made 383rwhp and 389 torq. and that would be about 8lbs.
