It doesn't add any hp.you are right it might not offer any more HP but is a different block all the same with a slightly better design, so it is listed as a mod since the car didnt come with it.

I see ur in socal...U do any dig races!!!!! or that 135i you speak of!!...I had fun with one on 405 freeway one night white,with gloss black wheels he followed me off my exit wilshire to ask me what was done to my car...theres also a flat white 2010 4door m3 i wanna run, That i come across but im usually in my audi..But any ways..hit me up...Theres a bimmer meet tuesday night on sawtelle,olympic,not sure what part of socal u from?

hmm interesting some of the race's I believe but, some I don't that racing though anything can happen. I know I have beat alot of car's I shouldn't have beaten. My car probably put's down around 385 to 390 rwhp. I have basically the same mod's as the OP.

buy you some patriot heads (243 or do your on ) cam and fast int...and it's game over....i got 491rwph/428ft at G-Force with cheap *** patroit heads, think I paid $1,300 & spent to days cleaning up the ports and bowl area my self. I had damn good results ....your c5z looks damn smokin !!

I took it to the track but unfortunately I never got a clean run so cant really tell you how it actually would do on a good, clean pass.

When I do the same, Im going a little extreme and will be swapping motors to either a 408 or 427 stroker....

On the race that he didnt spray, I beat him pretty good on the race that he sprayed I got beat pretty good..

Nice car. Runs like a scalded dog for the minimal mods. I'd just have a nice port job done on the 243's and maybe add a fast 92/92 setup. You can't beat drivability of a stock cam, and yours is already making great power.

Nice runs.....Car runs good...that viper is a 2006 coupe rated at 510 hp...dynos 440 plus rwhp stock...with the intake probally 450 rwhp and capable of mid to high 11s at 122-123 mph....you hung right by him....wich tells me your car is capable of the same..very stout z for just exhaust/headers/intake and tune......congrats

Hey ZYBORG,
Just curious if you've ran against any newer M5's or AMG Mercedes? That's all I see here in SoCal, and although I don't look to race intentionally (getting old) I have had a few quick 3rd gear runs with some and believe they are a good benchmark to compare my cars performance with. And yes I've also kicked the rear end out on a 3rd to 4th powershift, pretty terrifying btw.
