It is all in the TUNE!! Car runs good...**** the haters. I got a buddy that had a 99 camaro m6,LT,Push rods (4 bent when he got the car) Ran 12.7 on a tune, got it tuned by another person and ran 12.2! He ran a car built from AL and lost by 1 car, told they guy about his tuner and the guy got his retuned by the tuner and he out ran my buddy by 7-8 cars!
My car ran 13.1 @ 106 yesterday full weight (I weigh 400lbs) no tune yet wanted to get some times before he tuned my car.

Hey ZYBORG,
Just curious if you've ran against any newer M5's or AMG Mercedes? That's all I see here in SoCal, and although I don't look to race intentionally (getting old) I have had a few quick 3rd gear runs with some and believe they are a good benchmark to compare my cars performance with. And yes I've also kicked the rear end out on a 3rd to 4th powershift, pretty terrifying btw.

As far as Mercedes, I ran a C63 AMG and it was pretty quick staying close to me and also a SL65 AMG and beat him (probably because of the 2 hot chicks the guy had sitting in the one passenger seat.)

Sounds similar to a little encounter I had with a chic driving a white C63 AMG. It was 70 to 110, she got the jump and stayed a car ahead until I was about 6k in third and I finally pulled ahead. Had a little over a car on her going in to fourth. The newer M5 I ran was similar only he didn't get the jump like the benz and I got about 1.5 cars on him in 3rd. I'm curious as to how long you or me could hold of a new M5/6 in 4th gear. Hope to see you run one sometime.

all of those are either running meth or 109octane yet the c63 is staying right with it. but i guess i under estimated the 335/135. The avg c63 tune only seems to be mid to high 11s with 118-120trap. Add a couple more bolt ons on the c63 and i'd think the 335/135 would have a hard time winning

MS109 is 104 octane gas btw.
And nobody is stopping the C63 from running race gas, a turbo car usually reacts better to meth or/and race gas better than a NA engine.
And if someone wants to race me and pit it on video, u bet ur *** I'm going to run race gas and a race gas map

I'm your huckleberry......Shame your not around here...I've got a blot-on ls6.....and I say race gas is for sissy's who did'nt buy a car with a big enough motor.
