Time for more mods! I had a toyota keep up with me. And it wasn't a supra.
It was a 90's MR2. Turbo, with mucho dinero invested. I got his attention and we went on to a side road. From about a 40 mph roll I got him pretty good, but from 70-80 it was dead even. Like, he might have actually been inching away at certain speeds. Our gearing went back and forth, making it a great race (i.e. every time one of us shifted the other would gain a bit). So I get him to pull over at a gas station and he shows me his stuff. High dollar stuff all around, don't really know much about MR2's, but the water injection and the deafening roar of his turbo told me all I really needed to know. He said he ran 13.0 his last time at the track, but that wasn't on this setup, and he hasn't been since his last round of mods. I told him my car was stock, I think this wounded him a little
Very cool guy, nice to see an import done well. Exhaust/LT's/LS6 intake and I'll be back to see him again. I know where he hangs most nights.
I really needed a good race, I had just got a ticket about 3 hours earlier (50 in a 45

Story #2: fool in an extreme S10 gives it a try at 3 straight stop lights. He'd stay semi-close till I got into it a bit, then before I could get into second I'd be 3-4 cars ahead and pulling fast. Not sure what this guy was thinking.
