had to stop by washington mutual today to get some money out...so im comin back home and im at a redlight on hwy6 and dulles ave. i see a black porsche getting closer then he pulls next to me. i think nothing of it and didnt think he was gonna race...light turns green he takes off fast..i just ease on the throttle so i wont spin then go WOT...im now next to him then pull a good 3 cars on him then shutdown by like 100 or so...he pulls behind me then next to me...he waves, i give him a thumbsup...you shoulda seen the look on his face...his expression was like "WTF? I got beat by a CAMARO??"

hmm...it might of been a boxster...i really couldnt tell cuz i really never got behind him...it was black and looked like it had a diff shape to the body than a boxster...

if it was 3 cars by 100 id guess it was a boxster, a 911 would have put up more of a fight than that even with a poor driver. nice kill, im still waiting to embarrass a boxster.

Well, lets see here, a Carrera, it would have been a drivers race... The car has 320HP, and less torque, but it is lighter and more aerodynamic... weighs around 3000 pounds... if it was a boxster, you would have no problem killing him, as the car is a 15 second car stock, and the Boxster S is a mid 14 second car, stock... The Carrera is in the 13's, so like I said, would be a drivers race... nice kill though

The Boxsters are slow, a stock F-Body should beat one. The 911 Carrera's are pretty quick but a slightly modded F-body could beat one. The 911 Turbo's are godly and will take quite a few mods to beat one. Most Porsche owners can't drive that well so you never know.

Thanks As I have said before... I am a Porsche fanatic... there is just somthing about German cars, and Porsche is just my favorite... but, I also heart the sound and speed of nice american V8.

And, I think Unit has got it with the GT2's... at 180+ thousand bucks a pop, I doubt there are that many floating around... Plus, the turbo model is more popular to those that aren't true porschefiles, along with being much cheaper(65+ thousand cheaper), so there are more of them around... Plus, the GT2's have no traction control, or any other aids like that(unlike the turbo, which is why true porschefiles dont like the turbo that much) so it requires a lot more skill to drive and not kill yourself. If I had a GT2, I would be pretty wary of racing on the streets, and I wouldnt drive it as a daily driver, so yeah, not too many to be seen out on the roads.

We prepped a gt2 last week and a gt3 this week, probaly never see them again but they are out there. I also got to drive a 911turbo customer states "it grinds when you shift hard" I bout **** my pants driving that thing, whats lag? Im gonna have to something with the hawk I cant be working on cars that are faster then mine.
