raced a pullied cobra (vid)
Drew, I think your overconfident in your heavy *** AWD SUV! Lol. And why wait til March 30th? I was thinking about going on the 9th. You planning on getting into the 12's? And if you have spray, that's cheating.
Those mods will make 460rwhp/460rwtq. That 505rwtq number is wrong. There is no chance that it can make 500rwtq without either a lower pulley or a ported blower...or both (just as an FYI).
True, but he said STD numbers, so there not SAE corrected. Mine made 455/480 SAE with 2.8 upper, exhaust, and intake.
LOL i still think he'd beat me on street tires just would be a better run for both of us. I was planning on the 30th since other tbss's were going so figured id wait til then and im not doing spray just a cam in couple months but do plan on 12.99-13.1 the 30th

Ahh I gotcha i went 121 in the heat....went back a year later when I got some issues worked out and my 8th was up almost 2 mph but my 1/4 mile was down 3.5 mph....on the way home it blew antifreeze out the hood on the windshield....change the IC pump and it was a whole new car up top. By the numbers that would have been a 123 pass.

Yea I think 123 sounds right. Pullied cobras should trap 120-123 but they just don't for some reason. My friend has a strong one so we'll see how the race turns out between me and him in about 3 weeks. I saw a pullied cobra go 122 but it had slick/skinnies and he also made a lot of power for a pullied cobra. It made about 485 so 122 should of been easily done with the stock wheels.

Yes it does....and trust me i used to make fun of cobras all the time when I had my mach i beat them all the time on spray (ported and pullied cobras) then I bought one and learned these guys must have had no clue what they are doing. Even as heavy as they are they can be very stout cars.

I know they can be but it seems to be pretty rare. Out of all the cobras I have seen I have only witnessed about 3-5 of them run correctly. BUT I haven't found but many good ls1 cars either. So its not just a cobra thing. I'll have another cobra vid or two in about 2 weeks should make for some good runs

Good runs man... who's Cobra was it? This weather sucks. Brandon was going to do some other runs with the Porsche but of course it had to rain

You don't know the owner he's from out my way. Yea Idk about the weather. I had knee surgery the other day so I can't drive anyway. That porsche looks like a waste of gas IMO
Simple, If you don't like the vids and think it's a waste of time, don't watch them! Problem solved.
