The LS1 is like one of those guys that's naturally strong with a big build. The SRT-4 is like one of those little guys that has to use a ton of steroids just to keep up. All the bigger guy would have to do is workout occasionally while the little guy would have to bust his *** in the gym all day long.

Genetics (or in this case, engine platform) pays a huge role in power development.

Its all about what you start with; and the LS1 starts with twice as many cylinders. Which would you rather drive on the street. A car that's wound up like a top, or one that barely breaks a sweat while laying the smack down on most everything around? I'd take the latter, since I'd like a car that's going to last more than a thousand miles.

My advice....Quit thinking about those DAMN IMPORTS! <rant off> Stick with your Z. Yes there are many that run 12's stock. Many more should, but they suffer from insufficient traction, but the power is definately there.

Or you could go out and get a SRT-4 and watch just about every guy on this board fly past you. I don't know about you, but I like to win.

But you can't pretend your in F&F with an LS1... that makes all the difference, man!!

I have red Neons under my car ... tirefly's ... 3,000 stickers ... and 2 - 9" wide exhaust pipes (fed by a single 1 inch exhaust pipe that splits right before the rear end). I also bought 2 of those windshield washer LED's, but I couldn't find my washer jets, so I just drilled holes in my hood and put them in there.

Doesn't everyone that owns a T/Z do that?

Yeah I missed it too. I must be slacking.

If you guys want to read the greatest thread ever, and I mean it, Check this out from the SRT-4 forums. It's about an hour's worth of side-splitting humor. It starts off a bit slow, so give it a page or two to get in full swing.

I especially love "lifeisdeath" in there. He reminds me of bullitt.

Wow, I just spent a shitload of time reading that in its entirety... Basically, Lifeisdeath, is a moron, because there were so many errors in his arguments, and when asked to specify differences, he didnt. Once in a while he said to search, and nope, nothing really there.

I have a question I read the site about the Srt guys fighting back and fourth.. But I thought the engine in the srt 4 was a mitsubusi engine?
That engine is in the Hyundia to LOL
